Fungus gnats are primarily a problem caused by overwatering of your plants. You can eliminate your fungus gnat problem by drying out the soil of your plants for several days since they cannot thrive without moisture in the soil. If you are not having the problem with fungus gnats on any plants that are edibles, you could do a soil drench around the plant with a product like Talstar P used at the rate of 0.5-1oz per gallon of water.
