Is Confront safe for use on our well-established St. Augustine lawn?

We have a nutsedge problem. Image has not worked. A lawn service rep (who knows our lawn) highly recommended confront. The product came today--thanks for the speedy service. The label does not specify St. Augustine.

Answer:

Confront Herbicide should NOT be applied to St. Augustine turf or residential lawns per the product label. Southern Ag Basagran Sedge Control is labeled to treat for nutsedge in St. Augustine grass and would not harm the grass.  Though our most popular product for nutsedge in the Sedgehammer Herbicide.  It can be used in St. Augustine as well.
