Is Conquer and Archer safe to put on hard wood floors?

We have HWF throughout our house and I want to use Conquer and Archer products because we have fleas EVERYWHERE! Is it safe for the floors?

Answer:

Conquer and Archer should be safe on your floors if water is okay to be used on them, but we always recommend testing a small inconspicuous spot first to make sure no adverse affects will take place. That being said, it is very rare to have a flea infestation when there are no carpeted areas for the fleas to harbor, as hardwoods and flat smooth surfaces like that flooring do not provide proper conditions for that insect to thrive. A better option if you do have fleas would be to use one of our flea aerosols like Ultracide to treat your flooring as this will provide you with both the insecticide and IGR(birth control) that you would be getting with the Conquer and Archer, but it will be an easier, cheaper and safer application for your hardwoods. Make sure you are treating all pets with a flea topical like Frontline or our version of it by Martins Flea & Tick, and the outdoor areas the pets travel to prevent them from bringing more in as this would be where they originated. The Conquer and Archer mixture would be a great option for your outdoor flea control. Also, make sure you are vacuuming every day, even with hardwoods as this will help stimulate any eggs to hatch out and be exposed to the product you are using faster. You can see how to do a proper flea treatment in our video "How To Get Rid of Fleas Indoors" and for extra tips see our article on How To Get Rid of Fleas.
