Cyper WP will not stain any surface, however since it starts out as a powder prior to mixing, it can leave behind a noticible residue on dark surfaces where it dries back in a some what powdery form. If this residue (which is not permanent) is unwanted, we suggests something like the Demon MAX which carries the same active ingredient as the Cyper WP but will dry completely clear.
