Is FMC Astro Insecticide tolerated by cherry trees?

I need to apply to ornamental green cherry trees now, against Japanese beetles.

Answer:

We would recommend using Sevin to treat for Japanese beetles on Cherry trees for Japanese Beetles if you plan to eat the fruit. Cherry Trees<span font-size:13.3333330154419px"="">: Mix 3.0 fl. oz. of product per gallon of water and spray upper and lower leaf surfaces and between fruit clusters and on small limbs and trunks to the point of runoff where pest appear. Repeat applications as necessary up to a total of eight times per year for tree fruits or five times per year for small fruits, but not more often than once every seven days. If you do not eat the fruit, you could use the FMC Astro Insecticide at a rate of 4 to 8 ounces per 100 gallons of spray, or 1.6 oz. per gallon of water for low volume or spot applications. See the product label for complete application instructions.
