Scott from Hartland, Wi writes,

Is Malathion safe to spray on raspberry bushes that already have some fruit on them?

I have a ton of Japanese Beetles that have infested my raspberry bushes and I want to use something safe.

Answer:

Yes, you may use Bonide Malathion 50E Concentrate on Raspberry bushes that are producing fruit. You may make up to 3 applications per year, at least 7 days apart, and do not apply within 1 day of harvest. Please read the Bonide Malathion 50E Concentrate product label before use for complete instructions.
