Is Texoma better than Max Q for horse hay fields to cut for sale to horse customers?

We sell hay and have 20 acres in std max q but were told you were developing a fescue with softer shoots more preferable for horses. Is this Max Q II Texoma? Is this available

Answer:

Pennington Max Q II Texoma Forage Tall Fescue guarantees to provide high-quality hay and better forage throughout fall months into spring and early summer. It is a non-toxic Endophyte to enhance tall fescues and it offers superior animal performance, higher yields, and better grazing persistence. Endophytes (fungi) are very essential to the tall fescue plant because it helps plants to be more heat and drought tolerant. It also provides excellent benefits to plants without producing harmful toxins. Pennington Max Q II Texoma will offer a permanent pasture for different classes of grazing livestock such as sheep, cattle, and horses. It will also help improve animal performance because it can double animal gains and pounds of beef per acre over KY 31.
