Yes, Carpenter Ant Kit #1 is safe for pets in your yard. The Advance Carpenter Ant Bait and Maxforce Carpenter Ant Gel, when applied correctly will not harm children or pets. Pets can be attracted to the granules but if they are applied correctly the pets should not be able to eat enough of them for it to be harmful. You are supposed to broadcast the granules outside meaning you will be placing very small amounts in grass, mulch, etc. A pet would have to consume a large quantity of this product, meaning they would have to get into the container and consume a large amount to get sick.
