Is the product Reward Herbicide Broad Spectrum Aquatic safe to use in my fish pond?

My pond contains a plant described as Water Shield, Dollar Bonnet. Looking online for something that will kill the weed, but not my fish, I came across on Amazon.com reviews for Reward Herbicide Broad Spectrum Aquatic. While the price is very reasonable compared to other herbicides, will it be effective in wiping this pond plant out and still be safe for my fish, and other life that's living in my pond? My pond is .36 acre. Also, what will I need to apply if this is what I need? Thanks!

Answer:

When applying an aquatic herbicide such as Reward, you need to be sure not to treat your entire pond all at once. Doing so will probably result in dead fish. Treat about 1/4 or 1/3 of your pond at a time - following the product label - and your fish should be fine.
