Is there anything I can spray over groundcover juniper to kill spreading weeds that will not kill the juniper?

I have a clover weed that is spreading like crazy. This has become a problem only during the last couple of years. The juniper, established for 10 years, is planted on the parkway. I've tried touching the weeds with a glove and roundup but managed to kill some of the juniper as well.

Lontrel Turf and Ornamental is a selective post-emergent herbicide that controls certain broad-leaf weeds in turf and certain ornamental plantings, such as conifers and non-leguminous woody species, in landscapes and nurseries. Lontrel can be used on warm season and cool season turf grasses. It will eradicate clover in junipers. Please refer to the product label for specific mixing and application instructions.
