Onslaught is a great product for control of yellow jackets. You could apply it via a hose-end sprayer. It should be diluted 1oz per gallon of water. Another great way to treat for yellow jackets is by applying an insecticidal dust such as Tempo to their nest. Night time is the best time to treat because that is when yellow jackets are less active.
