Is this safe as pre-emergent on established perennial beds, such as hostas, ornamental grasses, hydrangeas?

I need a pre-emergent that works better than Preen for my garden beds.

XL 2G can be safely used in ornamental plantings yes.  We do have SnapShot 2.5 TG that is specifically for ornamental plantings though.
