Sharon from Jacksonville, Fl writes

Is thuricide considered organic?

I have an organic garden.

Answer:

Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt)? (in the pest control form it is known as Thuricide) is a naturally occurring bacterium found in soils throughout the world. The Hi Yield Thuricide Concentrate is not organically certified and therefore would not be appropriate for an organic garden. However, we do offer the Southern Ag Thuricide BT Caterpillar Control which is OMRI certified and would be the appropriate Thuricide product for your organic garden. Be sure to read the Product Label before use.
