Tri Die will be effective against carpenter ants if you know exactly where the nest is and can spray it directly. If this is not possible, we recommend you use a product such as Phantom Aerosol or implementing a carpenter ant baiting program. These products will be transfered or carried back to the colony so that you will be eliminating the nest and not just the ants that contact treated areas.
