March 24, 2010Laszlo asked:
QCan I use JetStream fogging concentrate near a vegetable garden?
I'm planning to use this product(JetStream™ Water-based Contact Insecticide) on and next to my vegetable garden very soon because we've got a lot of alkali bees in the soil.
My question is, How soon can I plant vegetables in the soil where I'm using this product?
Thank You!
AJetStream is not labeled to be applied to food or food handling surfaces. We would not recommend applying it to a vegetable garden with planted food. JetStream is a contact kill only and does not leave a residual, so if you were going to plant new vegetables after treating an area you could after a good rain after applying the JetStream.
April 14, 2010Kathy asked:
QHow can I apply Jetstream w/ pyrethrum around the cement perimeter of my house w/o leaving a sticky residue?
AJetstream is a water based fogging concentrate and should not leave a sticky residual. Since it is a contact kill product it should not leave a residual once it dries. Normally this product is meant to use in a misting system or fogger, but it can be mixed with water in a one gallon hand pump sprayer and applied also. The more water you mix it with the less sticky it should be. Please read the product label for exact mixing instructions.

QCan I use JetStream in my misting system?
I am looking for a pyrethrum concentrate to use in my mosquito misting system. Can this product be used in this manner?
AJetStream is not labeled to be used in mosquito misting machines. We do carry Riptide ULV which is a pyrethrum based product that can be used in a mosquito misting machine. We also carry Sector misting concentrate and Vector-Ban, these products can also be used in a mosquito misting machine but they are permethrin based products.
