The leaves are turning inward and falling off the plant. I put as much fertilizer as I normally do with Osmocote which I haven't had a problem with. I have now removed all the fertilizer off the top of the surface and will be watering in and hoping to diminish the effects.
You did not mention what Osmocote product you had previously used so we cannot verify for sure but it is always recommended to follow the instructions on each individual product label to ensure that the product is applied properly.
