These most certainly do have a scent.
The Trapper LTD Glue Boards are un scented. They have no peanut butter scent or other food grade ingredients to attract mice or insects to them like other boards have. The smell you are finding is simply the scent of the material the manufacturer uses as the adhesive on the board. It is similar to a wicker basket, it is going to have its own natural distinct smell and isn't made to smell that way its just how it naturally is. Same with the glue adhesive used on these boards. In the future for a completely unscented board you could try our Trapper Max Free Glue Boards which have almost no scent at all in the adhesive, all you would smell is the cardboard it is attached to.
