Melanie from Estell Manor, Nj writes

Killing weeds now, and preventing them during the growing season

I live in Southern NJ, I have a 20x30 garden with a small strawberry patch, and a blackberry bush along the back of the garden. I have continuous weeds that I can not get rid of, crabgrass mainly, and vine like weeds, as well as sticker bushes. I've tried many different types of things to eliminated them, but to do use they still come up. I want to kill all the weeds, now, and start in beginning to mid may start planting tomatoes, peppers, butternut squash, and cantaloupes, and sunflowers. what can I use now, and then later to help keep things down, and away.

Answer:

Avenger Weed Killer Concentrate Would be a great option for you! It will not harm edible vegetation.  Please be sure to review the product label before application.
