Product Overview

We no longer stock the KM Ant Pro bait stations.  We now sell the Ants No More Bait Stations instead.

For optimum ant control you should place 1 station per each side of your home. 4 stations per home is recommended. .

The KM Ant Pro Liquid Ant and Insect Feeder is a unique ant bait station that slowly releases liquid ant bait (sold separately) into a serving tray that easily allows ants and insects to feed 24/7. The 360 degree feeding tray at the base of the station is protected from the elements, yet allows ants and insects to come from all sides to feed. In fact, the KM Ant Pro can even feed multiple ant species at once. The Ant Pro Ant & Insect Bait Station is a highly durable, rugged device which provides consistent long term ant control. The unit is weather-tolerant, tamper resistant and refillable, and will provide years of dependable service when maintained correctly. One fill of the station can last up to 90 days in moderately infested environments. Liquid bait is not included. We recommend using Gourmet liquid ant bait with this station.

Details

When the Ant Pro unit is filled with bait and activated, a small quantity of bait is released into a pool. As the ants consume the bait, the liquid tension ducts allow the pool to be replenished automatically. The Ant Pro dispenser offers full 360 degree access to the feeding pool. The gravity feed reservoir provides enough bait to feed several ant colonies simultaneously over a long period of time. Also, more than one species of ant will forage at the stations at the same time.

To deactivate and move Ant Pro to a new location, rotate the bulb back to the original position. When the unit is in the closed or activated position, a locking screw secures it from tampering. When Ant Pro System, with liquid bait, is left in place, it will prevent re-infestations from occurring.

    Pro bait station[aquablue dome]

    By Mr on 03/05/2010

    Purchased liquid bait and bait stations (outdoor use) almost 3 years ago and had good results. I live on Long Island, NY and the problem was patio ants. As I have used these products, I'm a veteran. You should start in March if you had ant problems in the past. Just like killing weeds before the weather really starts getting warmer, you have a nice jump start for the ant season. Keep checking the bait station every 3 days and fill if needed. I learned washing the domes every time when filling gets better results. Don't put the domes in a really open area cause they will get hot and evaporate real fast. Shade is best. If you can put it behind a pail or something to shade it off that's fine too. Under a bush, side of a shed (you get the idea)! The price went up for the liquid about $10 each and the dome price skyrocketed. I'm not happy with the prices but this stuff really works when you put the effort in like everything else. If you live on either coast these ants really never go away. I believe neighbors who don't really take good care of there homes bring these critters back year in, year out and becomes my problem but these ants are natives to the area and aren't really going anywhere. Keep them in check and there's nothing to worry about. I don't like the color of the bait station so I will paint them this year to a matching color the house or just green. So, start in March and stop in May. Right down your results. Ants will still come back. Start again, giving yourself 14 days to a month. You might have to move the bait to another location. When checking the bait, see which ones run out faster, meaning that a good/bad location where the baits are assuming you use more than 1 like I do. I would give the products 4 stars but because the price went really up and the dome color is retarded and a good amount of detective work needed to get excellent results....I give 3 stars. PS- If you get quizzy looking at dead bugs, get your better half to do it! :}

Only solution to get rid of Carpenter Ants

    By Tom on 04/05/2011

I've tried just about everything out there. This is the only solution that I found that keeps Carpenter Ants away from my house and patio areas. Prior to having these, I had exterminators come and they could never get the job done. In the 5 years that I've been using these, I have rarely seen an ant on my property and I live in a heavily wooded area in the North East. I fill them in April and then re-fill them in June and sometimes August if needed. You basically fill them up, put them around your house or shrubs and within a month, all the ants are gone. Brilliant solution!

    KM Ant Pro Bait Station

    By Wendy on 05/06/2010

This really solves the ant problem, and it is so easy to use. You fill it once and it lasts all season. I bought one for the front of the house and one for the back. I even bought one for my brother in Indianapolis and he loves it too.

    KM Ant Pro Bait Station

    By D on 09/03/2011

    Verified Purchase

I was plagued with ants in my house for years, starting in early Spring until late Fall. I tried everything I heard of to control them. Nothing worked until I got the KM Ant Pro Bait Station in early Spring, 2010. Since then I have not seen one ant in my house and none around my house outside. I was amazed, but thrilled. The only bad news is that the price has gone up considerably since I first got mine. The good news is that you won't be wasting your money on something that doesn't work.

The stations were great. Antopia R2's not so much.

    By Thomas on 07/28/2014

I put 8 of these stations around my 5 acre property surrounding my lawn and patio areas and carpenter ants just disappeared from my entire property. The only issue I had was when I didn't stake the units into the ground, groundhogs and/or raccoons would tip them over and drink the bait. I tried a couple Antopia R2's and they definitely don't work as well.

Q
Does the R2 and Gourmet bait work for White Footed Ants?
A
Baits do not normally work on White-Footed Ants so alternative methods will be needed. You will need to treat the outside of the home with a residual product like Talstar P and treat any mounds you see in the yard as well. Spray the Talstar around window and door frames, any areas where pipes enter the home, and around the foundation 3 feet up and 3-5 feet out on ground. Please review our detailed article on How to Get Rid of White Footed Ants for more information on eliminating them from your home.
