Product Overview

Koppert Ercal is an exceptional product that's specially designed to help control whiteflies. The Eretmocerus eremicus, a type of parasitic wasp, specifically targets the second and third larval stage of tobacco whitefly (Bemisia tabaci) and glasshouse whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum). Host feeding takes place when adult female wasp parasites the larva of the whitefly. You will see visible results after 2 weeks by the appearance of first parasitized pupae which will turn yellow in color and is independent of species. It's very easy to use; simply suspend the cards at approximately 75 cm under plant head or on plants that you want to protect from whiteflies. It is not recommended to be placed in areas with direct sunlight.

Koppert Ercal is available in two sizes:

  • The small box contains 3,000 Parasitic Wasps pupae on 50 cards, 60 wasps per card.
  • The large box contains 15,000 Parasitic Wasps pupae on 250 cards, 60 wasps per card.
