    Q
How effective is LambdaStar 9.7 % on mosquitoes?
We live on 30 acres with swamp in front and behind where our house sits. Would this be the best choice for a perimeter spray to stop them from getting to our living space? How often should we treat?
    A

LambdaStar 9.7 is a great insecticide for all sorts of pests including mosquitoes around the home. Our top product however for mosquito control is Talstar P which we recommend the most and is also a little more cost effective. You can look over our Mosquito Control Guide to see all the different steps and products to use to effectively get rid of mosquitoes around your home.

  • Asked by James from Cary, Il
    10/07/2018
    Q
Will LambdaStar 9.7% CS Insecticide kill butterflies and bees?
We have a butterfly garden between the house and the front walk which runs parallel to the house. I don't want to harm either.
    A

Butterflies and bees are insects and would be affected by LambdaStar 9.7% CS Insecticide in the same way the target pests like ants and spiders would be. The best way to reduce the chance of harming the bees, butterflies, or other beneficial insects is to spray later in the day when they are less active, and try to avoid spraying blooms of flowers and plants they would be using for pollenation.
