I live in mobile home. Late at night I hear like wood being bitten or scratched under my floor. What is it?

I live in the woods. Sound hasn't always been there. Lived there 13 years. New this year.

Answer:

That sound could be caused by a number of wood boring pest. We recommend that you contact your local Cooperative extension office for an identification. Also, pest control companies will come out to do an inspection for free or minimal charge.
