I live in a wooded lot and we spot a roach or three a day beginning this time of year. I have a toddler and two small dogs and am looking for something that will kill, prevent, roaches, ants, fleas, ticks but would be safe for my tot and pups. What do you recommend?

Answer:

We would recommend using the products in our Outdoor/Indoor Flea Kit. It includes an insecticide called Onslaught and an insect growth regulator called Martins. The Onslaught is labeled to kill over 200 insects and is safe to use inside and outside. Martins will impede the reproduction of the roaches, fleas and ticks. Treatments should be performed by the applicator when the children and pets are not in the area. They can re-enter whent the solution dries completely. You should apply the products once every three months to indoor crack and crevices and outdoors monthly unless you are treating for fleas. If you are battling fleas, you will spray once every two weeks outdoors (intial treatment after 1-2 days of mowing) and indoors you will vacuum (even hard surface floors) daily for 14 days after your initial spray and then spray your second treatment 14 days later. If the roaches have made their way inside, we recommend applying a professional roach bait gel to the cracks and crevices that have not been treated with the insecticide (cabinets, under sinks, etc) every two weeks. I have included a ant, roach, flea and tick control articles below for additional reference. Please let us know if you need anything else.
