    Q
Does the Mantis 1x2 Fly Light work well to eliminate fruit flies?
We have a winery and are looking for a solution to eliminate fruit flies during fruit processing
    A

Yes, the Mantis 1x2 Fly LIght works very well with all types of flying insects, including fruit flies. All you need to do is make sure that there's not a lot of light competition and position 3-6 feet from the floor, especially in an area of high activity. You will need to use multiple lights in larger areas or areas of high insect pressure.

    Q
Can this trap be used to catch larder beetles ? If so, can it be placed in an unfinished basement ?
    A
Larder beetles generally feed on meat and various food sources. They would not be attracted to a fly light. We would recommend disgarding all the food that has been infested. We would recommend using Cy-Kick Aerosol around the baseboards and cracks and crevices in your home. You could also use pheromone traps.
