May 6, 2013Janis from Omaha, Ne asked:
QDoes Martins Dominion kill tent caterpillars or fall webworms?
I am looking for a soil drench systemic insecticide to kill the above pests. Does Monterey Annual Tree and Shrub Concentrate kill them?
AThe Martins Dominion Tree and Shrub will not affect the tent caterpillars or the webworms. This is because a systemic insecticide of any form will not work for these types of insects. You would need to use a foliar spray to control them like the Fertilome Borer, Bagworm, Tent Caterpillar & Leaf Miner Spray. The dilution would be 2 ounces per gallon of water and reapplication times with vary with the type of plant you are treating on. You can refer to the product label for your exact needs.
May 7, 2014John from Los Angeles, Ca asked:
QHow much Imadacloprid 1.47 concentrate(oz/gal or TB/gal) should be in mixer output?
I'll be using a Dosatron mixing system at 50 to 1 ratio. The Imadacloprid concentrate is 1.47%. Am using as soil drench for potted plants.
AWe apologize, we are not familiar with that system. Please contact the manufacturer Control Solutions for the best application.
