This is a product i will Highly recommend to anyone, very effective and price economical. The fine Granular was the first i tried, it did wonders but i ran out of it this summer. As anyone ever tried using Maxforce Granular Bait in treating Bedbugs? It did worked for me. When i first had bedbug infestation last year, i used Maxforce Granular which i had bought for roaches and it did the magic. These products saved me $$$.

The MaxForce is working way beyond my expectations. I sprinkle the area with this bait and in 3 days the nest is DEAD. I walk around my acre yard and when I find any nest I sprinkle it. The last two years I had a major infestation of these pavement ants all over my yard. I had a very large section about 60 feet long by 20 feet wide with ant nests all over to a point I did not have grass growing anymore. This bait is doing the trick and I now have to really look for any nests. If you have any doubts try this stuff and I think you will be surprised on how well it words. Great Stuff!! EASY TO USE

Did not work for me
June 14, 2013
I've read the reviews and most are positive, however this did not work for me. Maxforce with the yellow or green label worked best for me. I've been using maxforce for about 8 years and have had no complaints until I was forced to try this "Maxforce Complete" version. I saw roaches in my kitchen 2 months after putting down this version of maxforce. When I use Maxforce with the green label or yellow label I see absolutely no roaches and I apply it about every 10 months. Unfortunately the manufacturer has decided to discontinue the best version of maxforce with the yellow label and green label. This product just did not work for me the way the other maxforce product worked. Did not like this at all.

Great stuff! Worth its weight in gold.
By Emily on August 19, 2011
This stuff is great, great, great. After spreading pine bark mulch in my city backyard, I learned that I had created an awesome roach attraction. Lovely. I went out one night and giant (2") roaches were lumbering around all over my garden, and what's worse, they appeared to be mating. After looking at different products online, I ordered two bottles of this bait. Sprinkled one liberally over my mulch and in a perimeter around the house. After some heavy rains, I added some more about a week later. It's now about 2 weeks since application. Roaches? GONE. I noticed their numbers dwindle somewhat after the first application. Had I been more patient, maybe that would have been enough. But two definitely did the trick. I'll always keep this stuff in stock and once again feel comfortable sitting outside at night...No longer paranoid and looking for those giant suckers!

This product is fantastic. It is better than the one that was discontinued.

My pest control guy has refused to do baiting for our roach problem, insisting that sprays were the best solution. Not so according to most of the university extension services. So I bought this bait after researching other products. After putting this bait in some trouble areas and around the home, we have seen zero roaches in the house - after averaging two-three a day. Excellent product, and we fired out pest guy.
Too many ants

This really works. Good results within 12 hours. Some beds, when large, needed second treatment, but these were really large beds. Will order more soon for next year.

I've used Maxforce Complete to combat our Odorous ant problem. As any experienced ant hunter can attest, initial results can be misleading, but after about a month of baiting I can say the population does seem to have suffered a setback, however careful placement of bait is essential. Areas of our house that are baited see only a few scouts, unbaited areas continue to struggle with pest ants. I'm hoping over time the entire house will be clear, but cautious optimism is prudent at this stage. In closing, Maxforce Complete didn't turn out to be the "ant napalm" I was hoping it would be, but it's definitely having a greater impact than any other poison I've tried, and I've tried them all.

Life saver! (not for the ants)
By Greg on July 14, 2014
I don't generally leave reviews, least of all for ant baits, but I felt I had to for this. We bought a house last winter, and as it got closer to summer and the weather started heating up, the ants started multiplying. Pretty soon we were under attack. They were everywhere, inside the house and out. We tried all the sprays and syrup poisons, but it just seemed to make the problem worse. Then I bought a container of this stuff and sprinkled it outside wherever I saw lines of ants. I checked it out 12 hours later, and it didn't seem like anything was happening. I couldn't even tell if the ants were taking it. Then 24 hours later... all of the ants were gone! It's been a month, now, and we went from spraying gallons of ant poison all over the place for months and still having ants on every surface of our entire house, to just sprinkling a bit of these granules in key places and just one day later, not seeing a single ant anywhere. This stuff is amazing and I highly recommend it.

In the past I used the Maxforce product that was replaced with this new formula. Being as I was completely satisfied with the old product, I was hoping the replacement would be equally as effective. AND it is! Have shared this product with several of my friends. All (including myself)are now ant free!
Love the Product

I have using Max Force for years. I just purchased another bottle and sprinkled it around the exterior of my house on sunday. This morning I had a thousand legged spider and he wasn't moving. My married children ask me to go to their homes and put the powder around their homes. I mentioned it to a few friends and they purchased the product also. Love the product.

This stuff worked great on getting rid of the big headed ants that nothing else worked on--we had bought some ant killer from Home Depot and it did nothing--but in two weeks we were finding piles of dead ants along the baseboards--we found a few dead roaches as well--we got several uses out of it as well.

I live in Central Florida and had a problem with Big Headed ants in the house. They congregated around the cat food and we have tried multiple things to get rid of them, even Terro 1% Ant Bait Stations. Nothing worked for these stubborn ants. I tried Maxforce Complete and it worked. I even sprinkled this stuff on ant mounds in the yard and the ants immediately started bringing the bait into the mound. Inside the house I put the Maxforce in the Bait Plate Stations and placed the stations near where the ants were congregating. After a few days, the ants were all gone. It has been almost 2 months now and we are still ant free. I would recommend this product to any one. After ordering through DoMyOwnPest control, my product arrived so fast that I suprised to receive it that quickly. At about $27 my ant problem is totally controlled :)

Waste of money
August 10, 2013
I have bought this before in the small jar. I was so happy with how it worked I ordered it again. This larger jug was a better value or so I thought. We have applied to several areas for treatment of ants and it has not even slowed them down. Won't purchase it again.

March 12, 2011Wanda asked:
QWhat will kill leaf cutter ants?
These have migrated from Texas to west central Louisiana and the area for mounds is very large, 500 sq ft. We saw today, the ants carrying red bud flowers and entering a hole 100' from their mound. We need help and in a hurry.
ALeaf cutter ants can be a difficult pest to get rid of. The colonies are large and the ants make their own food so poison baits only have limited effects on this species of ants. According to several university websites, Maxforce Complete Granules containing hydramethlynon are some what effective, though they will usually eliminate only about 30% of a large colony in one treatment and will need to be reapplied several times. DeltaGard granules is one of the only products actually labeled for leaf cutter ants. The product label recommends treating the mound directly and lightly watering the granules in. Again, it may take several treatments to get the desired results. We also recommend contacting your local cooperative extension office to see if they have any recommendations for products that have worked for other people in your region.
August 21, 2009Carole asked:
QDo you have any Maxforce products that still use 1% Hydramethylnon?
I have noticed that Maxforce Fire Ant Killer Granular bait no longer uses Hydramethylnon, but instead uses Fipronil. I have tried it, and it hasn't killed the ant colonies in my yard. Do you have any Maxforce products that still use 1% Hydramethylnon?
AYes, there is a Maxforce Complete Granular Bait that is labeled for Fire Ants as well as all other types of ants and other insects. This product was such a good seller that Maxforce stopped producing the specific fire ant brand. It has the same 1% Hydramethylnon as the old Maxforce Fire Ant Bait had.

July 18, 2012Katherine from Eb, Nj asked:
QDoes rain affect Maxforce Complete Granular Bait ? Should I put more after days of rain?
ARain can cause the Maxforce Complete Granular Bait to wash away or get moldy which makes it less attractive. We do recommend re-applying the bait after heavy rains.

QI have house crickets will Maxforce Complete bait get rid of them?
September 12, 2013Fabio from Miami, Fl asked:
QI want to do some preventative work to my home in FL. I already have Termidor SC in my cart to do some preventive termite work outside as well, but i want to protect/prevent our attic, and some areas of the house. I was thinking these granulates could do the work?
A No, Maxforce Complete Granular is not labeled for termites at all. When applied in a trench, Termidor SC would last up to 10 years in the soil. For treatment of drywood termites in the attic, you can apply Bora-Care on raw, natural wood. Once dried, if the wood is sealed the product will last for the life span of the wood.

QMaxforce Fine Granule?
I used to use MF Fine Granule with great effect on Argentne ants. Is Fine Granule still available, and is this new version small enough granules to work well on Argentine ants?
AThe Maxforce Complete has replaced the previous versions of the Maxforce granules that covers a wider range of ants, including argentine, as well as other insects, and is a mixture of both fine and medium sized granules. You will get the same control with these as you did with the fine which is no longer available.

I had it spayed professionally the last 2 seasons with "Demand" but this seems only to last a while and then they are back. I don't know where they come from, but they bite or pinch the kids when they get on them. What do you recommend for them? Should I keep using Demand or something else?
AWe recommend that you use an ant bait granule such as Maxforce Complete Ant Bait in your yard surrounding the pool to help control the ants before they try to go for a swim. Demand is a great product but it will only kill the ants that come into direct contact with treated areas leaving the ants back at the nest to continue to cause issues. The best approach would be to use the bait granules in the yard and to spray around the pool (at least 10 ft from the pool) with the Demand CS. This two pronged ant control program would give faster results that would last longer than spraying alone.
