It is highly recommended to also use Advance 375A Ant Granular Bait which is a protein bait. You should always give ants a choice as they may be in the mood for either a protein (granule) or a sugar (gel) bait.
Maxforce Ant Bait Gel is effective against Argentine, Odorous House, Ghost, Pavement, Cornfield, and Little Black Ants. Ants will carry the bait back to the nest and destroy the colony. You will see fewer ants in 3-5 days. Maxforce Ant Bait Gel provides for the sugar feeding needs of ants. If the ants are foraging for protein as well, it is recommended that a protein-based bait be used in conjunction with the gel bait. Box of 4/ 27 gram tubes.
We provide 1 Plunger PER ORDER to expel the bait from the tubes. You can purchase extra plungers or you can purchase a bait gun for use with this product.

Product Documents
Maxforce Ant Killer Bait Gel, with Fipronil, takes advantage of the natural behavior of ants. Foraging worker ants are attracted to the sweet formula of the bait. After consuming the bait the foraging ants will return to the nest and share the bait with the rest of the colony, including the queen(s) in what is known as the Maxforce Domino Effect effectively eliminating the colony. Maxforce Ant Killer Bait Gel offers a long term ant solution in a convenient easy to use application that begins to work in as little as six hours.
DESCRIPTION: Maxforce Ant Bait Gel is effective against Argentine, Odorous House, Ghost, Pavement, and Little Black Ants. Ants will carry the bait back to the nest and destroy the colony. You will see fewer ants in 3-5 days. Maxforce Ant Gel provides for the sugar feeding needs of ants. If the ants are foraging for protein as well, it is recommended that a protein-based bait be used in conjunction with the gel bait. Box of 4/ 27 gram tubes.
USE: Place small pea-size amounts near areas where ants trail or forage, or where they are entering the structure. The gel can be applied in cracks and crevices, on pipes, behind appliances, along baseboards, etc. Can be used both inside and outside. Be careful of children and pets. DO NOT apply residual insecticides or sprays near baits as this will prevent ants from taking the bait. Reapply gel as needed. Always read the label.
How do I apply Maxforce Ant Killer Bait Gel?
To apply, first shake the gel tube vigorously. Due to the high-moisture content, it is normal during storage for the syringe to contain a couple of grams of liquid. Simply shake the syringe before use to help even out the consistency. (During the summer months the gel may become more watery than normal, in which case you should place the tube in a refrigerator for 24 hours.)
Next, remove the cap and depress the plunger. If necessary, during the first few placements simply pull back slightly on the plunger to prevent over application.
Small pea sized placements should be made near ant trails or near areas where ants have been observed to forage.
Usually 3 placements will be sufficient for an average sized room with a light to moderate infestation, use more for larger areas or heavy infestations. Bait will remain effective for up to two weeks.
***NOTE-Do not disturb the natural behavior of trailing ants or foraging ants, placements should be made NEAR the ants not on them or in the middle of the trail. By disrupting their normal behavior, bait avoidance may occur.***

Within 24 hours, no ants!
By Sheree on July 21, 2007I had small black ants all over my kitchen counters. I put a smear of honey and peanut butter on foil in 2 corners of the counter that had the most ants. This would serve 2 purposes. It would tell me if the ants were going after protein (peanut butter) or carbohydrates (sugar), and it would cause the ants to create a trail. By creating a trail, I would know where they were coming from, and they would eat what was on the foil and not be all over my counter tops. I put the Maxforce FC Ant Bait Gel next to the honey (they were not attracted to the peanut butter), and within 24 hours, no ants!

Wish I'd found this sooner!
By Brian on June 16, 2008I bought the combo MaxForce FC Ant Bait Gel and Advance ant bait products because of the good reviews and we had a carpenter ant problem that returned every summer. Other products were only somewhat effective at knocking down the population that would come into the house. After doing some detective work at night, I found the main nest in a large tree with a split in the trunk. I applied both products to the main nest and where they were coming into the house. The ants did not seem to be attracted to the Advance but were drawn like flies to the MaxForce. Apparently, carpenter ants go through cycles of taste preferences so I guess they are currently feeding on sweets. Within a couple of days, I started seeing hundreds of ants keeling over along the trail between the tree and the house. I should have ordered this stuff a few years ago instead of trying the more generally available products at the home centers.

It Worked!!!
By Pam on July 1, 2009

MaxForce FC Ant Bait Gel got rid of the tiny black ants that have plagued us for years! We tried every one of the products available from Lowes and The Home Depot - nothing worked, not even temporarily. We didn't want exterminators spraying the whole house, and they would only guarantee their treatment for a short time. MaxForce knocked them out within a day. I only had to use a tiny bit of it. I can retreat for years with just one box. Great stuff, thanks!

Really works!
By Tom on April 19, 2009

I have tried everything under the sun (including Maxforce bait stations) to combat little black ants with only marginal success. With Maxforce FC Ant Bait Gel, however, the results were almost immediate, and more significant, long lasting. The little beggars swarm to it as soon as I put it down, and within a day or two they disappear completely. If you hate these pests as much as I do, give this stuff a try.

The real deal
By KH on October 3, 2008Maxforce FC Ant Bait Gel is the real deal. I had what I believe were pharaoh ants. The gel and bait combo (Maxforce ant bait stations) wiped them out in about a week. Just follow the directions and recommendations and you'll be fine.

Maxforce GEL
By Joyce on May 22, 2013

I have used this product for years. It is amazingly effective. I use it in the same building every year. The ants get into the foam insulation in a cathedral ceiling soffit area. I was disappointed this year because even the refrigerated gel in an unheated very cold building was not thick enough to stick to the ceiling. The get was runny and splatted onto the floor below.

Had a whole platoon of ants. Followed instructions and they were all gone within a couple of days. So much easier and safer to use than the obnoxious sprays. I highly recommend it.

Ghost Ants
By B on February 17, 2013

I live in Texas. I bought this product out of desperation. I never heard of ghost ants. These ants were treated by a professional exterminator more than once in the space of three weeks. Nothing worked. The last food item they attacked was a plastic jar of Butter Buds I had on the counter thinking they were gone. No, they were still living in the walls and came out within hours of my walking away from the kitchen. I followed the directions and decided to place the product on top of the Butter Buds cap like making mini pancakes in a skillet. I was throwing it away anyway. I placed product under the bar where the exterminator sprayed, they weren't interested as you had warned. The product on the cap, which I replaced each time when eaten away, worked as advertised and they were gone in 48 hours. HAVE NOT SEEN SINCE. I would suggest to your customers to spend the few extra dollars and buy 3 extra plungers to use with the other tubes. Also note I have no children or pets. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. The exterminator is now accepting my recommendation after apologizing for not listening in the first place.

Thoughts as a private party purchaser
By William on October 23, 2012

I have used this product before and have been very satisfied with the results. Two problems as a residential user: (1) Four tubes is too much for home consumption, and (2) If we have to assemble the tubes, some instructions would be helpful

Works great
By Barbara on October 4, 2012I recommend this product for ants. It has worked very well for us. I do, however, recommend the Masterline Professional Bait Gun to apply this bait because you have better control of the amount that you dispense.

Seems to work inside but not out
By Bob on September 26, 2012I think it worked inside but can't be sure because I had also been using Terro for the past two weeks. So it may have worked or maybe the Terro finally did it. It doesn't work at all to put it directly on an ant trail outside. They completely ignore it. The plastic syrenge applicator is aweful... I wouldn't buy this again.

Maxforce FC Ant Bait Gel
By Cito on September 12, 2012This will be my eight year using Maxforce Ant Bait gel. I live in the San Rafael, California Area. The Ant season starts around September. The Ants in this area usually make their homes beneath the parameter of the house foundation. One year I counted six nets, that's when i decided to take action and try Maxforce. I simply Bait the trail inside and outside the house weather permitting and let the ants do the rest. the ants are gone after 24 hours.
