The NEW Blue Packaging has replaced the old Red Packaging. The new blue packaging is the newest formulation of Maxforce FC Roach Gel.
Maxforce Roach Bait Gel (Bayer) is used as an effective crack and crevice treatment to achieve a rapid reduction of roach populations indoors and out.
There are two sizes: boxes of (4 x 30 g. tubes); and 60 g. tubes.
We provide 1 Plunger PER ORDER for each box of (4 x 30 g. tubes) to expel the bait from the tubes. You can purchase extra plungers or you can purchase a bait gun for use with this product. We recommend the Masterline Professional Bait Gun.
The 60 g. tubes come with a plunger that is already in the tube.
Maxforce FC is a professional version of the over-the-counter product called COMBAT ROACH KILLING GEL.
|Active Ingredient:||Fipronil 0.01%|
|Target pests:||American, Brown-banded, German, Smoky brown, Oriental|
|For use in:||Keep tightly capped and use within 2 years. Do not spray near baits, do not use heavy detergents or cleaners, or do not use in very dusty area. Gel will dry out and get a dry skin on top but roaches will still eat it up to a year. However, if contaminated or gone, reapply.|
|Application:||1 tube treats 30-120 square yards depending on infestation. Smaller, more frequent gel placements provide faster control than larger, less frequent placements.|
|Yield:||Good IPM program does rotate baits (bait with different active ingredient) as roaches may not be attracted to the bait matrix of what is being used anymore.|
How Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel Works
Maxforce Roach Bait Gel with fipronil is simply irresistible to roaches. When other baits won't attract aberrant-feeding roaches, Maxforce Roach Bait Gel will. In side-by-side comparisons, Maxforce Roach Bait Gel outperformed competing brands. With a proprietary formula developed by Bayer, the gel attracts and kills both finicky and normal roaches — even when sanitation is poor and other food sources are available. Maxforce Roach Bait Gel provides long residual and fast control of even large roaches.
Maxforce's exclusive Domino Effect delayed killing action enables one contaminated roach to kill many others where they live and breed. A foraging roach will receive a lethal dose from a single feeding, but lives long enough to return to the harborage where its poisoned feces are consumed by other roaches. It's all possible with Fipronil, the active ingredient in Maxforce Roach Gel, that has no known resistance in roaches and is odor-free. Fipronil is in the Phenylpyrazole family of insecticides and is used in many products when a delayed kill is desired, such as ant and roach baits. Fipronil disrupts the insect central nervous system, causing hyperexcitation of nerves and muscles.
About the Accelerated Maxforce Domino Effect
Our fast control formula still gives you superior long-term control of roaches compared to contact sprays. The active ingredient, Fipronil, provides a unique mode of action that works through both ingestion and contact, knocking down roaches and ants that eat or simply touch the bait. Either way, one contaminated roach or ant kills many others where they live and breed. The Domino Effect still achieves population control, but with faster visible results.
Roaches, German Roaches, American Roaches
PESTS CONTROLLED: Cockroaches including German Roaches, American Roaches, Brown-Banded Roaches, Smokey-Brown Roaches, Oriental Roaches
Target Uses of Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel
Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is labeled for both indoor and outdoor use, including commercial kitchens. What's more, you can use Maxforce Gel in residential food processing areas without covering food preparation surfaces during treatment. It's also fine to use in occupied rooms of hospitals, nursing homes and extended care facilities.
Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel can be used for virtually any roach infestation, but should not be used as a preventative measure. Be sure to eliminate competing food and water sources for best results when using baits.
ACTIVE INGREDIENT: Fipronil 0.01%
Application rate is dependent on level of infestation and species to be controlled; see application rate table. Apply bait as a spot or as a bead in cracks and crevices. The lower application rate should be used for low to moderate infestations or re-treatments, and the higher rate for more severe infestations or where the population occurs in inaccessible areas. Gel placements should be at or near harborages or aggregation areas, such as corners, or cracks and crevices. Numerous smaller placements will provide faster control than fewer larger spots, especially for German cockroach control.
Place bait under baseboards, sinks, countertops, seats, around water pipes, water heaters, dishwasher equipment, in crack and crevices as well as voids where insects harbor.
Pest population reduction will be apparent with 2 -or- 3 days for German roaches and 8 days for American roaches.
Prior to using, gel may need to be shaken well if any separation has occurred. On 30 g tubes, unscrew the black cap (or break off the tip) and replace with included open tip. After use, replace the black cap before storage. For 60 g tubes, simply remove the white tip cover to use, then replace for storage.
*Always read the product label completely before use.
Each 60 g tube will yield approximately 60 bait placements. Each box of 4 x 30 g tubes will yield approximately 120 bait placements.
Standard Application Rates:
*1-2 spots (dime sized) or 1.5” – 3” bead: Moderate infestations or re-treats for German or Brown-banded roaches
*2-4 spots (quarter-sized) or 3” - 6” bead: Severe or heavy infestations
*1/3” to ½” spots: Large roaches such as American, Smokey-brown or Oriental
For use in the following areas:
Indoors and outdoors (adjacent to homes and structures) in residential areas and the non-food/non-feed areas of institutional, warehousing and commercial establishments, including warehouses, restaurants, food processing plants, supermarkets, hospitals, nursing homes, motels, hotels, apartment buildings, bakeries, beverage plants, breweries, bottling facilities, candy plants, canneries, cereal processing and manufacturing plants, dairies and dairy product processing plants, frozen food plants, schools, laboratories, computer facilities, sewers, ”aircraft,“ buses, boats/ships, trains, homes, houses, industrial buildings, office buildings, kennels, kitchens, manufacturing facilities, spice plants, stores, wineries, mausoleums, meat processing and packaging plants, meat and vegetable canneries, pet shops and zoos. Non-food/non-feed areas include bedrooms, living rooms, bathrooms, closets, media rooms, garbage rooms, lavatories, entries, vestibules, offices, locker rooms, machine rooms, boiler rooms, garages, mop closets and storage (after canning or bottling); food/feed areas of food/feed handling establishments
Following is a general room-by-room placement guide for Maxforce Roach Bait Stations (Exact placement should be based on a complete monitoring and inspection. See our Indoor Roach Control Guide for images.):
Kitchen FC Bait Station Placements
* Refrigerator: Between refrigerator and nearby appliance, such as the dishwasher
* Sink: Alongside pipe collar where drainpipe enters the wall
* Cupboards: Flush mounted against an upper corner
* Other appliances: Behind microwave, toaster, blender, coffee maker, etc.
* Floor placements: underneath dishwasher and/or oven
Kitchen Gel Placements
* Drawers: Alongside the interior of the door frame
* Cupboards: Underneath selected cupboards where frame meets wall
* Counter: Underneath counter where sink is located
* Fume Hood: Along the inside rear corner of hood (ensure no gel will drip onto stove top)
Bathroom Bait Station Placements
* Toilet: Mounted on upper rear corner of tank
* Lower Cabinets: Flush mounted against an upper corner
* Sink: Alongside pipe collar where drainpipe enters the wall
Bathroom Gel Placements
* Sink: Upward angle into the overflow drain
* Condensation Surfaces: Places where condensation can build up such as the tops of doorframes and medicine cabinets, and alongside decorations
Other Rooms (Indoors) Bait Station Placements
* Closets: Flush mounted against an upper corner
* Appliances: Behind the television, stereo, computer monitor, fish tank, wall clocks, light fixtures, etc.
* Dressers: Flush mounted in corner alongside the interior of the drawer frame
* Furniture: Under base of couch and/or bed where crumbs accumulate
* Utility Room/Area: Underneath hot water heater and/or adjacent to washing machine
* Garage: Flush mounted to door frame where roaches can enter residence
Other Room Gel Placements
* Interior piping: Around all exposed interior pipe channels (such as hot water heater inlet)
Food Handling Establishments: Treatment is limited to crack and crevice treatment only. Place applicator tip 1/2 inch into cracks, crevices, holes and other small openings where roaches may be a problem. Apply small amounts of gel per spot. Do not apply bait to areas where food/feed, utensils or processing surfaces may become contaminated. Do not apply bait to areas that are routinely washed such as cracks and crevices in tops of tables, food/feed preparation and prepared food holding surfaces as bait may be removed by washing. Apply bait in small amounts between different elements of construction, between equipment and floors, openings leading into voids and hollow spaces in floors, walls, ceilings, equipment legs and bases, around plumbing pipes, doors and windows, behind and under refrigerators, cabinets, sinks, closets, stoves and other equipment where cockroaches hide. Inspect bait placements and reapply as necessary.
Place bait in areas adjacent to structures where roaches may nest or breed. Apply bait to potential points of insect entry, such as eaves, sills, and expansion joints. Apply bait in protected areas whenever possible. Environmental stresses such as direct sunlight and water will reduce the residual effectiveness. Priority treatment areas may be identified by visual inspection of such areas listed above or aided by trapping techniques or spot flushing.
Bait can also be applied in refillable bait stations every 20 to 30 feet around the perimeter of the structure. Use approx. 2 stations per side of a typical single family home. Do not exceed 2-4 spots (3”-6” bead) per station. Do not exceed up to 1 tsp. per station. For best results, place stations near: air conditioning units, water faucets, foundation vents and weep holes, decks, utility entryways (e.g. electrical, cable TV) and wherever cockroaches are frequently found. Regularly inspect and replace bait as needed.
Outdoor Gel Placements:
* Rain Gutters: Apply in seam between rain gutters and roof
* Attic and Soffit Vents: Between air vent holes
* Siding: Under siding/molding
* Exposed pipes: Around all exterior pipe collars or where pipe enters wall
* Also: In brick weep holes, in window cracks and crevices, around decks and stairs, around the intake vents of air conditioning units

Definitely the stuff to buy!
By Anna on September 14, 2008
What can I say except that if you have a roach problem this is definitely the stuff to buy. I used to dread going into my kitchen at night. As soon as I turned on the light there were roaches all over and nothing I used worked. And I used it all-- sprays, powders, bait, traps -- everything I heard of. Then I stumbled on this site and ordered Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel and Maxforce FC Roach Stations and put them both down. Well let me tell you, that was one year ago and I still have not seen any roaches and I definitely swear by this product and will swear by this product to all my friends. Use it if you have a roach because when you do you will see what I am talking about. Never use anything else... a VERY Satisfied customer.

No fumes, worked great
By Tammy on May 19, 2008
Trust me when I say this product works. I was afraid to go into my kitchen at night because the counter tops would be swarming with roaches. I used Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel after it was recommended to me by an exterminator and in a short time I had no more roaches. I used it once around six months ago it has been working since. I recently saw two roaches so I'll give my kitchen another application. Don't buy Raid or any of those other smelly products that don't work. This one does not smell and works 5 times better. I have two small children at home and was relieved that there were no fumes to worry about.

I purchased Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel, Advion Roach Bait Gel, CB Borid Boric Acid Dust, Demon WP Insecticide, Gentrol IGR Concentrate, and Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations (72 count) for my roach problem because I had out of town guest come to visit who brought them in from their suitcases. I was mortified at how quickly they multiplied and I was overwhelmed with the costs to get rid of them so I decided to purchase things myself. I had a really large order with DoMyOwnPestControl and before I completed the order they emailed me letting me know that I had purchased way more than I needed. That really spoke measures to me because most people would only care about making money. They told me what to get and how to use it and it hasn't even been a month and they are almost completely gone...If I see one he is dying. I will continue to use them for any pest control needs and I have referred my friends and family. Thanks!

Could not believe the results!
By Nedda on July 25, 2008
This is the best product me and my family have ever used. It stops them the moment you put the gel down. When I was living in an apartment complex the people that lived above me never use to empty their trash when needed. So it caused roaches in my unit- little ones and medium size. Well to make a long story short, this man was out one day, I believe he was testing the product Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel and he put some in my kitchen and he left the remaining of it with me. I forgot that I even had more and the next day there was not one single bug or roach. I could not believe it . So I called everyone I knew. I recommend all of the Maxforce products.

Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel gets the job done. I've lived in a roach infested apartment for over a year. One application of this product eliminated our roach problem. I don't write reviews, but this product is too good not to express my appreciation.
By Richard on September 14, 2014
I have lived in my apartment for over ten years and never seen even one cockroach. Around five months ago I saw one or two roaches crawling on the floor.it didn't bother me. I just caught them and put them outside. It wasn't until two months ago that I realized I had a serious infestation. I didn't want to use pesticides, but didn't t want to live in a house full of roaches either. I had no alternative but to get rid them. The gel really works. I have tried boric acid (pic powder), but it didn't work at all. My building has monthly pest control, but the spray doesn't work either. I've been finding dead roaches everywhere since I used the gel.

We moved into an apartment in mid April & we began to see roaches a day after. I ordered this product & while I waited for it to arrive I used the traditional bug spray. I still saw them, especially during dinner. Once this bait gel came in I quickly applied it to all the areas I commonly saw them. The results were immediate!! I saw them less & less. If I came across one alive I applied the bait in the area that It was visible. I have come across dead ones as well. If it is applied as instructed, you should experience the same results.

I just started using the Max Force Gel, and due to living in South Florida , we have a lot of problems with german roaches. I also coupon , so I have to keep up with getting rid of the papers. They really love that . I keep my coupons in containers to prevent that from being an issue , but to help with it I use the gel inside as well. I have tried it all and for the price this is the best product on the market with the best results

German roaches became problematic & Cy-kick was not effective, turned to Maxforce in late summer to eradicate minor concentrated infestation that seemed to be on the brink of a major issue especially with breeders, took a few months but worked like a charm, finally roach free for a couple months now.

Getting rid of German Roaches expeerience
By Daisy on October 17, 2013
I have learned much about trying to get rid of German roaches. I originally called in a pest control company, and it did nothing to get rid of them. I called them back in again, and that was when they told me they had no guarantee on German roaches. That was when I decided to go it on my own. I have been taking measures to rid them for a couple of months, and my best success has been putting out the bait gel, and keeping the kitchen immaculately clean, and free of food or water that they need to survive. I am not completely free of them but much improved.

March 2, 2011 Moses asked:
QHow safe is roach gel in my kitchen with food and children?
AMaxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is very safe to use in a kitchen when it is used as directed on the product label. According to the product label, you should place small dots of bait every 10-12 inches directly in cracks and crevices on and under counter tops, in cabinets, cupboards, drawers and food pantries, around dishwashers, refrigerators, sinks, pipes and baseboards. Do not place bait on food prep surfaces or in places that you will frequently touch or in places that are frequently washed.
August 6, 2009 Dennis asked:
QWill Maxforce FC Roach Gel hurt my cat or dog?
AMaxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is only strong enough to kill small roaches. There is no evidence of secondary poisoning with Maxforce or any roach products for that matter. Remember that a roach would eat such a small amount of gel, and the gel only contains .01% of active ingredient. There is no way that it would cause your cat to be sick. Although the thought of eating roaches makes even us feel a little sick!
October 1, 2010 Cecil asked:
QCan I buy Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel in a store?
ANo. Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is a professional product that is not available in stores. You can always purchase the bait with us, we have free shipping!
June 11, 2010 Geeta asked:
QHow many tubes of Maxforce FC do I need to buy for covering moderate German roach infestation?
in kitchen and 2 room
AYou need to apply a spot of gel every 12 inches directly into cracks and crevices in each room. Each tube of Maxforce FC roach bait gel contains enough gel to make about 60 spots applications. The amount of gel you will need will depend on the size of each room. After roaches eat the gel it should be replaced so monitor the gel placements and refresh when necessary. For larger infestations you may need 1 tube per room. You may also want to consider using our roach control kit #2 to help control the roach polpulation faster.
October 24, 2009 Jeff asked:
QDoes the Maxforce FC Roach Killer Bait Gel (0.01% Fipronil) come with an applicator?
AWe provide a plunger with each order to apply all of our roach and ant gels with, including the Maxforce FC Roach Killer Bait Gel.
May 18, 2014 Chris asked:
QAfter using Maxforce Roach Killer Bait Gel, what is the best way to clean up the remaining gel?
I used the product in my kitchen. I didn't use it on counter tops or food prep surfaces, but I did use it in cabinets that hold dishes and along the molding, etc. The roaches seem to be gone, but most of the gel that I applied is still there. Is it enough to simply wipe it up with a damp rag?
A The best way to clean up the roach gel is exactly as you stated. Use a wet rag with soap on it an it will come right up.
April 21, 2014
Gregory from Philadelphia asked:
QHow long does it take approximately for the product to harden, rendering it mostly ineffective?
A The amount it takes for the Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel to harden or become less effective is normally about 30 days.
October 29, 2013
Chelsea from Abilene,tx asked:
QIs Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel taken back to the nest for other roaches to die?
A When roaches come out from hiding looking for food, they will pick up the Maxforce FC Roach Bait gel and take it back to where the other roaches are. The bait is then transfered and produces a domino killing effect.
September 24, 2013
Kesha from Elmhurst, Ny asked:
QWhat would happen if my dog or cat ingested the roach bait gel?
Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is only strong enough to kill small roaches. There is no evidence of secondary poisoning with Maxforce or any roach products for that matter.
September 7, 2013
Marian from Rocky Mount, Nc asked:
QHow difficult is it to remove Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel once the year of application is up?
I have had some bait before that was black and very difficult to clean up. What color is this gel?
A The gel ranges in color, it is more of a brown/beige color. The bait gel should be easily removed with soap and hot water. If you are still having problems a little vegetable oil will remove the gel
September 5, 2013
Chalita from United States asked:
QHow often should I use the Max Force treatment for roaches?
You should place MaxForce Roach Bait Gel out as often as needed. You should only apply roach gel if you have a problem. If you do not have a problem, you should not place roach gel out as it is a food that will attract roaches, you do not want to attract a problem if you don't have one. If you do have a current roach issue, you should apply as often as you need to. In bad infestations, you may need to apply weekly if the roaches are eating it that fast.
August 21, 2013
Doina from Brooklyn, Ny asked:
QWhich one works faster, MaxForce FC Roach Bait Gel or Invict Gold Bait Gel? Are they pet safe?
Which one of this two products is more efficient and works faster and longer to get rid of German Roaches? Which one has no smell? ( I am allergic to strong perfumed smell) Which one can be applied safely without taking out all the stuff from the kitchen cabinets and drawers?
A MaxForce FC Roach Bait Gel and Invict Roach Bait Gel are both great choices for treating german roaches. However, they are only a portion of a roach control treatment. We do recommend cleaning out the cabinets and drawers in the kitchen prior to treating. They are pet safe when used as directed. We do not recommend using any products to those that are sensitive to products. We suggest that you contact your doctor prior to applying anything in your home. German roaches can be very difficult to treat. Please click the following link for additional information, How to Get Rid of German Roaches

Terry from Delaware asked:
QIs Maxforce safe to use around birds?
I have pet parrots. What are the ingredients in Maxforce and it is safe around birds and cats? Can I get written information to show my vet about the safety? Is there a guarantee available? Thank you.
Maxforce FC Roach Bait gel should be safe to use around any pet as long as you keep the application out of reach of the pet. Since you are applying a gel and not a spray, there is nothing released into the air where sensitive animals such as birds could run into respiratory issues. That being said you should always defer to your veterinarians advice. We do not have any other written safety information other than the information available on the product label and the MSDS. We do not offer product guarantees but these are the same products used by professionals and if you use them as part of your roach control plan you will have the same results as a professional. I have included a link below for you to learn what is needed for a complete roach control program: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/how-to-get-rid-of-german-roaches-a-245.html
