The NEW Blue Packaging has replaced the old Red Packaging. The new blue packaging is the newest formulation of Maxforce FC Roach Gel.
Maxforce Roach Bait Gel (Bayer) is used as an effective crack and crevice treatment to achieve a rapid reduction of roach populations indoors and out.
There are two sizes: boxes of (4 x 30 g. tubes); and 60 g. tubes.
We provide 1 Plunger PER ORDER for each box of (4 x 30 g. tubes) to expel the bait from the tubes. You can purchase extra plungers or you can purchase a bait gun for use with this product.
The 60 g. tubes comes with a plunger that is already in the tube.
| Active Ingredient: | Fipronil 0.01% |
| Target pests: | American, Brown-banded, German, Smoky brown, Oriental |
| For use in: | Keep tightly capped and use within 2 years. Do not spray near baits, do not use heavy detergents or cleaners, or do not use in very dusty area. Gel will dry out and get a dry skin on top but roaches will still eat it up to a year. However, if contaminated or gone, reapply. |
| Application: | 1 tube treats 30-120 square yards depending on infestation. Smaller, more frequent gel placements provide faster control than larger, less frequent placements. |
| Yield: | Good IPM program does rotate baits (bait with different active ingredient) as roaches may not be attracted to the bait matrix of what is being used anymore. |
| Manufactured By: | Bayer |
Product Documents
With the broadest label available, the best bait acceptance, and virtual population elimination, it's no wonder Maxforce Roach Killer Gels are popular.
New Maxforce Roach Bait Gel with fipronil is simply irresistible to roaches. When other baits won't attract aberrant-feeding roaches, Maxforce Roach Bait Gel will. In side-by-side comparisons, Maxforce Roach Bait Gel outperformed competing brands. With a proprietary formula developed by Bayer, the new gel attracts and kills both finicky and normal roaches — even when sanitation is poor and other food sources are available. Maxforce Roach Bait Gel provides long residual and fast control of even large roaches. It's labeled for both indoor and outdoor use, including commercial kitchens.
Maxforce Roach Bait Gel has USDA authorization for use in federally inspected meat and poultry plants. What's more, you can use Maxforce Gel in residential food processing areas without covering food preparation surfaces during treatment. It's also fine to use in occupied rooms of hospitals, nursing homes and extended care facilities.
To make matters worse for roaches, Maxforce's exclusive Domino Effect delayed killing action enables one contaminated roach to kill many others where they live and breed. A foraging roach will receive a lethal dose from a single feeding, but lives long enough to return to the harborage where its poisoned feces are consumed by other roaches. It's all possible with Fipronil, the active ingredient in Maxforce Roach Gel, that has no known resistance in roaches and is odor-free.
About the Accelerated Maxforce Domino Effect
Our new fast control formula still gives you superior long-term control of roaches compared to contact sprays. The new active ingredient, Fipronil, provides a unique mode of action that works through both ingestion and contact, knocking down roaches and ants that eat or simply touch the bait. Either way, one contaminated roach or ant kills many others where they live and breed. The Domino Effect still achieves population control, but with faster visible results.
Tips for Use:
* Inject Maxforce roach killer bait gel directly into small cracks, crevices and voids that harbor roaches
* Smaller, more frequent gel placements provide faster control than larger, less frequent placements.
* Store MAXFORCE Gel in a moderate termperature range. The gel will start to liquify at temperatures below -10 degrees or above 140 degrees Fahrenheit. When returned to moderate temperature, the gel will regain its normal consistency with no lost effectiveness.
* Gel may stain textiles and some porous surfaces. Place gel directly into cracks and crevices or hard-to-see areas where a stain will not cause a problem.

Definitely the stuff to buy!
By Anna on September 14, 2008What can I say except that if you have a roach problem this is definitely the stuff to buy. I used to dread going into my kitchen at night. As soon as I turned on the light there were roaches all over and nothing I used worked. And I used it all-- sprays, powders, bait, traps -- everything I heard of. Then I stumbled on this site and ordered Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel and Maxforce FC Roach Stations and put them both down. Well let me tell you, that was one year ago and I still have not seen any roaches and I definitely swear by this product and will swear by this product to all my friends. Use it if you have a roach because when you do you will see what I am talking about. Never use anything else... a VERY Satisfied customer.

No fumes, worked great
By Tammy on May 19, 2008Trust me when I say this product works. I was afraid to go into my kitchen at night because the counter tops would be swarming with roaches. I used Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel after it was recommended to me by an exterminator and in a short time I had no more roaches. I used it once around six months ago it has been working since. I recently saw two roaches so I'll give my kitchen another application. Don't buy Raid or any of those other smelly products that don't work. This one does not smell and works 5 times better. I have two small children at home and was relieved that there were no fumes to worry about.

Could not believe the results!
By Nedda on July 25, 2008This is the best product me and my family have ever used. It stops them the moment you put the gel down. When I was living in an apartment complex the people that lived above me never use to empty their trash when needed. So it caused roaches in my unit- little ones and medium size. Well to make a long story short, this man was out one day, I believe he was testing the product Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel and he put some in my kitchen and he left the remaining of it with me. I forgot that I even had more and the next day there was not one single bug or roach. I could not believe it . So I called everyone I knew. I recommend all of the Maxforce products.

So Thankful!

Verified Purchase
I purchased Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel, Advion Roach Bait Gel, CB Borid Boric Acid Dust, Demon WP Insecticide, Gentrol IGR Concentrate, and Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations (72 count) for my roach problem because I had out of town guest come to visit who brought them in from their suitcases. I was mortified at how quickly they multiplied and I was overwhelmed with the costs to get rid of them so I decided to purchase things myself. I had a really large order with DoMyOwnPestControl and before I completed the order they emailed me letting me know that I had purchased way more than I needed. That really spoke measures to me because most people would only care about making money. They told me what to get and how to use it and it hasn't even been a month and they are almost completely gone...If I see one he is dying. I will continue to use them for any pest control needs and I have referred my friends and family. Thanks!

By Bryan on January 3, 2010Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel gets the job done. I've lived in a roach infested apartment for over a year. One application of this product eliminated our roach problem. I don't write reviews, but this product is too good not to express my appreciation.

Great Stuff!
June 18, 2013I had never heard of german roaches until my home became infested and I could not believe how quickly they multiplied. They were even in my electronics...microwave, computer, alarm clock and who knows where else. Sprays of every kind did not work and my children begged to move out of our house. I applied Maxforce Roach Bait Gel and was pleasantly surprised to see their little dead bodies all over the floor. After three weeks we saw one or two so did our second application. I am glad to say we have not seen a roach, dead or alive, in over a month. If you really want to get rid of your roach problem for good buy this stuff! It really does work!

This product is AMAZING! Buy now!
By Nancy on May 10, 2013Oh wow, I used the Maxforce gel (strongest strength) 3 days ago & am now virtually roach-free! The first day, nothing much happened. Second day, noticed kinda more roaches; probably attracted to bait & came out from hiding. BUT on that second day evening a complete decrease of sighting in my kitchen area. When I opened the cabinets I could still see some roaches, though most slow & dying....now on the third day I see like one or two roaches (there were like 100 before). SUCCESS!!!! Buy this, it works! I cooked a full meal in my kitchen tonight...first time in a long time. Very happy; reclaim your kitchen/house/etc & buy Maxforce gel!!!!!!

Trailer Park Roaches
By Mark on March 16, 2013A friend of mine was telling me about her roach infestation. I hate roaches, so I was horrified of her story. They had simply taken over her home. Lights, no lights, it didn't matter, she couldn't put a bite of food down without them coming out. I mixed her a couple of gallons of different products to spray her house with. She had some results but I wasn't satisfied, so I got on line and found this product. Purchased a couple of tubes, instructed her on how to apply and the results were mind boggling. She had the kind of roaches that like to come out and take her food and this stuff was perfect for them. They ate this stuff and the next day she was sweeping up piles of them, and then more piles of them. All living roaches were eradicated with a few days, new hatchlings from eggs left hidden who knows where, were soon to follow. Her house is roach free.

I normally don't send reviews of products I purchase but I can't believe the results from this gel. I have had roaches for about 3 months and tried everything to get rid of them. Nothing worked. I researched products and came across this gel. I cleaned out most of the cabinets and applied the gel like the video on this site shows. Withing 1 week I hardly see any roaches. The ones I do see are dead or almost dead. It's like a miracle gel.

March 2, 2011 Moses asked:
QHow safe is roach gel in my kitchen with food and children?
AMaxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is very safe to use in a kitchen when it is used as directed on the product label. According to the product label, you should place small dots of bait every 10-12 inches directly in cracks and crevices on and under counter tops, in cabinets, cupboards, drawers and food pantries, around dishwashers, refrigerators, sinks, pipes and baseboards. Do not place bait on food prep surfaces or in places that you will frequently touch or in places that are frequently washed.
August 6, 2009 Dennis asked:
QWill Maxforce FC Roach Gel hurt my cat or dog?
AMaxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is only strong enough to kill small roaches. There is no evidence of secondary poisoning with Maxforce or any roach products for that matter. Remember that a roach would eat such a small amount of gel, and the gel only contains .01% of active ingredient. There is no way that it would cause your cat to be sick. Although the thought of eating roaches makes even us feel a little sick!
October 12, 2009 Joseph asked:
QHow good does Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel work on German Roaches?
I have a rental property and this is the worst pest we have to try to get rid of.
AThe Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is our most popular roach control product for the last 5 years. It is proven to be a very good measure of control for roaches. As with any pest problem though you need to have the cooperation of the tenants as far as keeping the kitchen area clean, no dishes in the sink overnight, trash taken out when it should, counters and floor cleaned and swept, etc. This product is a food bait that will attract the roaches to eat it, but it will only work if there is not other human food for it to compete with. For best results or bad roach problems you should use our roach control kit. It comes with a newer roach gel that also works very well along with two other products that when used together provides excellent results for eliminating roaches.
June 11, 2010 Geeta asked:
QHow many tubes of Maxforce FC do I need to buy for covering moderate German roach infestation?
in kitchen and 2 room
AYou need to apply a spot of gel every 12 inches directly into cracks and crevices in each room. Each tube of Maxforce FC roach bait gel contains enough gel to make about 60 spots applications. The amount of gel you will need will depend on the size of each room. After roaches eat the gel it should be replaced so monitor the gel placements and refresh when necessary. For larger infestations you may need 1 tube per room. You may also want to consider using our roach control kit #2 to help control the roach polpulation faster.
July 6, 2010 Chel asked:
QIs it safe to put Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel in the pantry on the floor with food?
Our exterminator placed some of this on the floor in our pantry because we had German roaches. Is this safe being closed up in the pantry with the food? Just want to be certain. All types of pesticides make me nervous.
AWe will not comment on your pest control operators work, but we will tell you that as long as the Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is used as directed on the product label, it is safe to use in the food pantry. Since this bait is in gel form it is not released into the air and does not move through the air. The Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel label recommends "Gel placements should be at or near harborages or aggregation areas, such as corners, or cracks and crevices. Numerous smaller placements will provide faster control than fewer larger spots, especially for German cockroach control" Maxforce FC can also be used in bait plate stations.

Sami from Miami Fl asked:
QCan you use Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel outside?
Can you Maxforce FC Roach Bait outside and is it effective to kill Palmetto roaches?
AYou can use Maxforce FC Roach bait gel outdoors though it can be washed away or melted by UV rays. We usually recommend you use Maxforce Complete for outdoor applications: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/maxforce-complete-granular-bait-p-1603.html
April 23, 2013
Kenny from Honolulu Hawaii asked:
QI would like to try the Maxforce FC gel but I have two cats - is this a problem?
AWhen used as directed on the product label Maxforce FC Gel should not pose any problems for your pets. You should apply small dabs of gel directly into cracks and crevices that are inaccessible to your animals.
November 12, 2012
Terry from Delaware asked:
QIs Maxforce safe to use around birds?
I have pet parrots. What are the ingredients in Maxforce and it is safe around birds and cats? Can I get written information to show my vet about the safety? Is there a guarantee available?
Thank you.
A Maxforce FC Roach Bait gel should be safe to use around any pet as long as you keep the application out of reach of the pet. Since you are applying a gel and not a spray, there is nothing released into the air where sensitive animals such as birds could run into respiratory issues. That being said you should always defer to your veterinarians advice. We do not have any other written safety information other than the information available on the product label and the MSDS. We do not offer product guarantees but these are the same products used by professionals and if you use them as part of your roach control plan you will have the same results as a professional. I have included a link below for you to learn what is needed for a complete roach control program: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/how-to-get-rid-of-german-roaches-a-245.html

Ruben from Indianapolis, In asked:
QDoes Maxforce work in a carpeted apartment?
ACarpeting should have no bearing on the effectiveness of Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel. Be sure to read and follow the Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel product label to make sure you are applying the gel in the correct places.
June 13, 2012
Stacy from Detroit, Michigan asked:
QHow long to see results when using Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel?
AThere are a number of variables to consider when trying to determine how long it will take to see results from using a roach bait. Have sanitation procedures been performed to make sure the bait gel is the only food source available? Is the gel being used alone or in conjunction with other products? How large is the infestation? Was the bait placed properly? In ideal conditions, you should see results within a few days to a couple of weeks.

Uri from Israel asked:
QCan you compare Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel to the moistness of Invict Gold Roach Bait Gel?
How long it will stay effective after implemented?
It can be the perfect product, but if it gets dry quickly it is a problem!
AThe Maxforce FC Roach Bait gel stays moist for quite a while but the exact amount of time will depend on environmental factors such as the humidity, air currents and the porousness of the surface it is placed on. We have not done any moistness testing between Invict and Maxforce so we do not have any way to compare them.
October 1, 2010 Cecil asked:
QCan I buy Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel in a store?
ANo. Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is a professional product that is not available in stores. You can always purchase the bait with us, we have free shipping!
August 20, 2010 Rita asked:
QDoes Maxforce FC have fumes, or is it toxic?
My mom and I have allergies and asthma problems. Yes, I know cockroaches don't help but I live in an apartment. We get them from the constant moving and coming of tenants. We can't handle the fumes of the sprays and its bad enough with the other toxic painting and glues used. I was wondering if this has a lot of fumes and toxic elements that would irritate or activate our asthma..please advise.
AMaxforce FC Roach Gel is very safe and does not emit any fumes whatsoever. There should be no issued with your allergies and this product.
July 13, 2010 Yendor asked:
QWhat is the shelf life of the Maxforce FC Roach bait Gel?
I've had some Maxforce FC Roach bait gel bait for at least 4-5 years. It was stored in the summer and winter temperatures in a tool shed. Do I need new gel?
AYes. The Maxforce line of Roach and Ant Gels can be stored for up to two years at room temperature if they are unopened. Once the Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is opened it needs to be used within 1 year. After 1 year the gel will become stale and ineffective.
January 25, 2010 Jose asked:
QHow long is Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel active for?
AThe Maxforce line of Roach and Ant Gels can be stored for up to two years at room temperature if they are unopened. Once the Maxforce FC Roach Bait Gel is opened it needs to be used within 1 year. After 1 year the gel will become stale and ineffective.
