    Q
When does the Maxforce FC Roach bait stations need to be replaced?
    A

The Maxforce FC Roach Stations can last up to 1 year if there is still bait left inside.  The stations have a translucent plastic top so you can see the bait tray inside.  In a bad roach infestation, roaches can eat the bait in as little time as 1 or 2 weeks.  You should replace the station once the bait is gone, or if you feel the station has become contaminated.  Otherwise, as long as there is still bait inside, it will be good for one year.

    Q
Should Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations be placed inside kitchen drawers - where the silverware is??
I am renting a house and previous tenent has bait stations right inside kitchen drawers. I have two children (ages 7 & 9 years old) and am especially concerned about poisoning not only roaches but people! Where should bait stations be placed in kitchens? Are they safe to handle when removing from walls and drawers?
    A
Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations can be placed in kitchen drawers. The bait will not be coming incontact with the kitchen utensils. Being able to apply bait in drawers, is great because you cannot apply a spray in those areas. The Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations will not harm you if you touch them.

    Q
How do I get rid of German cockroaches in a car ?
i did the cleaning part, and ive been using sticky traps but i still see them around. what products do you recommend
    A
You could use a roach bait station in your car such as the Maxforce Roach Bait Stations or the Advion Roach Bait Arenas. The roaches would eat the bait and share it with the other roaches and this will help eliminate the infestation.

  • Asked by Cyn from Raleigh

    Q
Why can you only use 24 Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations in a home at a time?
    A

According to the manufacturer, there should only be 24 Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations used in a home at a time because too much of the active ingredient in an area can confuse the roaches. They should be placed 4-6 stations per 100 square feet. This will allow them a sufficient amount of space between the stations so that the roaches will ingest the bait.

Yes, Maxforce FC Roach bait stations will be fine next to Gentrol IGR. Gentrol IGR is just an insect growth regulator that is like a birth control for the roaches. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

    Q
Can you place a roach bait station inside a wall heater? Is it safe to be exposed to high heat?
My landlord placed one inside the heater. I noticed it when I went to light the flame.
    A
We do not recommend placing the Maxforce Roach Bait Stations directly inside the heater. A better placement would be next to or under the heater where the station would not be exposed to the flame.

  • Asked by Joy from Monticello Fl

    Q
Why aren't the roaches eating the bait in the Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations?
I sanitized my kitchen before putting out this gel bait and a growth inhibitor. I put bait stations in every cabinet and drawer and on the floor by the fridge. The only bait that's been eaten is the one by the fridge. The roaches have certainty started to be less but I'm confused because the bait stations are all still full. It's been about two weeks now. I keep the kitchen counters and sink as clean as I can and all food is now in air tight containers including pet food.
    A

It sounds like your roach population is decreasing and there isn’t as much roach activity as there was, so less bait will be consumed from the Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations, and there will be less activity in areas. The nesting area may be closer to the refrigerator so the roaches don’t have to go far to locate a food source.  You may try moving the bait stations that you’re not seeing in activity in to areas with known roach activity.
