Mold in the bathroom on walls and ceiling

I have to clean a bathroom next month that has a lot of mold in it. Can Boracare with Mold-Care be applied with a sponge to painted walls or does it have to be sprayed? And will it be possible to apply paint over this or will it take a special coating of some other product first?

Answer:

Bora-Care with Mold Care is meant for the treatment of wood that has Mold on it.  It is not meant for sheetrock or other parts of the bathroom.  It can also only be applied to unpainted, unsealed wood.  Sheetrock retains a lot of moisture, so the better solution would be to remove the sheetrock and insulation, treat the wood studs in the wall with Bora-Care with MoldCare, and then replace the insulation and sheetrock.
