Mold-Ram can be applied with borates such as Bora-Care

Mold-Ram can be applied with a sprayer or paint brush, and can be applied along with other wood protective products used for termite control and to prevent wood decay, such as Bora-Care. It can be applied after treatments of the above mentioned products, or Mold-Ram can be mixed directly with a Bora-care mixture (as well as other borate products) and both products can be applied at the same time.

Mold-Ram prevents mold and mildew from growing.

Mold-Ram will not treat existing mold, rather it prevents mold and mildew from growing. Mold-Ram can be used in conjunction with mold remediation programs, however Mold-Ram can only be applied after all visible mold growth has been removed and conditions conducive to new mold development have been corrected. Existing mold should only be treated and removed by experienced and licensed professionals.

Mold-Ram does not control wood decay or wood fungus, which is why it is best to use this product along with a borate such as Bora-Care.

Mold-Ram mixing and use information

Mold-Ram is mixed with water at the rate of 2.5 ounces per gallon to cover approx. 500 sq. feet of building material surface. One quart will cover approx. 6,250 sq. feet.
Mold-Ram is white in color when applied and dries clear. A dye such as Turfmark Blue can be added to the Mold-Ram mixture so that the application is lightly visible to aid with inspection or to verify that full coverage of the product over the target area has been achieved.

Surfaces should be wet evenly, without runoff or pooling, and allowed to thoroughly dry.

If Mold-Ram is used in interior living spaces, the treated wood must be covered with an overlayment such as paint, wallpaper, siding, wallboard or flooring.

When applying Mold-Ram, it is recommended to wear a long-sleeve shirt, shoes plus socks, protective eye wear and waterproof gloves.

Q
Can Mold Ram be used on drywall? If not do have a product that can mold proof drywall?
A
Yes, Mold Ram can be used on wall board and sheetrock.  Remember that Mold Ram will not treat existing mold; it will only protect a surface from new mold.  After treating an interior wall with Mold Ram, you must cover it with paint, wall paper, or some other covering to keep it from contacting people when they touch it.  Pleae read the product label for complete instructions.
