I used just a dash in an water feature at my office (waterfall and small pond)... It didn't take much dye to get the color I liked. Money well spent.

I had ordered similar product from Amazon and it always came in gallon jug. When this one came I immediately thought someone made a mistake! It was me! I only use to color a pond near my home that is much smaller than 1/4 acre. This product is probably much more concentrated than the gallon formula (probably getting water in most of the gallon) but not what I thought. Not Domyown's fault, but mine. Difficult to properly administer to small areas. It does color the pond just cannot control color as well.

Purchased this thinking it was a gallon - as nearly all competitors sell pond dye by the gallon... thought oh well maybe it's super concentrated?? Nope... this is just a 1/4 of a gallon sold at a gallon price... would not recommend... you can buy the same concentration dye at a farm supply or on Amazon for 70% less ...
