Monterey Horticultural Oil is a natural insectcide for control of aphids, whiteflies, mites, mealy bugs, and other garden pests on citrus trees, vine crops, and vegetables. This horticultural oil is petroleum based, colorless, and non-staining, and has no temperature restrictions unlike other oils that can scorch plants in hot weather. It can be used alone or in conjunction with other insecticide treatments. There is no mixing required, simply hook up a sprayer hose and get to work.

PRODUCT INFORMATION
This insecticide’s mode of action is through suffocation of eggs, larvae and nymphs of insects and mites and adults of soft-bodied insects. This mode of action necessitates total spray coverage. As a fungicide this oil interferes with the attachment of the pathogen to the host and acts as a suffocant.
This oil may be used to control mite and insect pests in the egg stage, including: spider mites, eriophyid mites, armored scale, soft scale, mealybugs, psyllids, whiteflies, aphids, leafrollers, leaftiers, webworms, cankerworms, plant bugs, leafhoppers and adelgids. This oil will kill other immature forms if spray covers the insect.

It took about 3-4 weeks and 2 applications but my bushes are coming back to life. All the dead spots noe have small leaves starting. It was their assistance that I bought the product. Never used it before. All I can say listen to the experts they wont steer you wrong

I'm guessing that the RTS version of Monterey Horticultural Oil is diluted by the water coming from the hose, relative to the RTU version, which is not so diluted. Is there data on the difference in effectiveness? Thank you.
Yes, Monterey Horticultural Oil - RTS will dispense the product along with water, It can be used alone or in conjunction with other insecticide treatments. It is comparable to the concentrate just a ready to use option.
