This stuff used in combination with sweeping and cleaning and eco-pco-dx-dust has worked. Discovered a bedbug problem about 3 months ago and started a persistent campaign against them consisting of a weekly complete breakdown, cleaning and spraying of bed hardware, betting and mattress along with dusting the parameter of my apartment and around the bed.. its been weeks since ive seen a live bug and even longer since ive seen a live adult.. am going to bi weekly now and if all goes well done to monthly and so forth. Its a tough problem but it is beatable and this product was one of the key ingredients.. Buy it buy the case though youre gonna need alot of it and its more economical by the case

This spray is great!
By Jade in Chicago on 03/05/2013
I wrote another review about Bedlam, but I also used Bedlam plus mainly for perimeter and carpet and this stuff is truly amazing!!! I have a mild infestation of bed bugs in my bedroom and if you have carpeting and bed bugs, then you understand my HELL. The spray on this is really powerful too and that is exactly what I was looking for. I can do a long reach on my carpeting and spray my whole apartment down in a sweeping motion in under 20 minutes (would be 10 but of course I stop to drown them if I spot them) so far I've done one treatment, but the kill was amazing, kills them instantly! I would definently recommend this and the regular Bedlam along with drione dust....these products have made me sane again and kill quick and leaves a nice residue, which is extremly important since I live in an apartment in between two neighbors that are infested and always bombing....argh :) Thanks!

So far so good
By Rahul in New York, NY on 06/18/2012
I didn't have much of a problem with me finding only 2 bed bugs in the last whole year. But this spray seems to be working fine in either case. Found one dead bug in the corner of my bedroom a few days after spraying. Hope it is really working and keeping those nasty bugs out of my NYC apartment. There is just no stopping them with citywide exposure :(

I am reviewing the quality of the product, since Bedbug treatments require multiple different ways of handling them. However, I am reviewing DoMyOwnPestControl shipping of the item. Extremely fast and arrived well before I expected them. I usually spray this around my luggage whenever I go away on a trip, as a precaution in case there are any unwanted travelers that try to hop on board my luggage while I'm in the plane or in my hotel room. I feel safer having treated my luggage before going away.
Bedlam Aerosol Is isappointing
By Sandra in Gaston, SC on 09/26/2016
The straw could Not be attached to the can no matter how hard I tried. I used pliers, needle nose, and even my super strong husband. I did the best I could to spray it in cracks and sprayed under drawers and in other hiding places. The stray did fit in the ClimeXa Isecticide so I used it to spray in the tight placed where I had planned to use the bedlam. The bedlam worked well in the places where I could use it. It was just way too frustrating to use it where I was fighting to get rid of the bugs without the straw working.

Fast shipping. Product works
By Cho in New York on 04/07/2016
Fast shipping from Domyownpestcontrol.com. Product works, used this to spray the outside of my lugggage since I was travelling since I didn't want to catch any bedbugs during my trip. Had bedbugs infestation once and the exterminator I hired used a combination of Temprid + Bedlam Plus and it knocked them all out in one treatment.

It worked ok as part of my Pyrethrin resistant bed bug kit. Research of the three ingredients showed that they are almost identical to Raid Max Bed Bug & Flea spray, which sells for a little more than half the price. .4% vs .4% for the 1st ingredient. 1% vs 1.53% for the 2nd ingredient (Raid actually had more of the "enhancer"). Imidacloprid .05% is the residual, and is at a very low concentration (Temprid SC has over 20% concentration). This was the only ingredient not in the Raid product. I already use Temprid, so this was really a non-issue. Per Wikipedia, Imidicloprid "is currently the most widely used insecticide in the world". For such a small amount, and at nearly twice the price, Raid would have been a more economical choice.
Did the Job on Bed Bugs!!
By Russell in Illinois on 02/16/2016
I used Bedlam Plus on Bedbugs and it does the job. I'm very happy with this product. This worked for me; i used the Mattress Safe boxspring and mattress encasements. Then i started using Alpine dust and then in a few weeks i did a follow up with CimeXa dust. Then i used Temprid Sc and alternated to Transport Mikron. Now i always do "final" follow-up & maintenance treatments using Bedlam Plus and if needed i would start the entire routine again..

I tried Bedlam Plus for the first time on a customers home. It was a pretty mild case, but with this stuff, it was one-and-done. Saved us time and money.

ABedlam Plus is specifically labeled for use on furniture. Apply to tufts, folds, edges, sides and seams until damp. Allow to dry before reuse. Do not spray the entire surface of the cushions or back as this is not necessary. As long as you follow the product label instructions you should not need to put anything over the treated areas. QIs Bedlam Plus safe for already encased mattress and boxspring protectors?
Hi is this product safe for beds already encased? I am currently using Saferest brand encasements. If this spray should come in contact with the encasement will it destroy the encasement (ie burn a hole in it or somehow destroy the zippers)?
ABedlam Plus should not damage any fabric that water itself will not damage. The manufacturer has tested the product as many fabrics as possible and the product is not known to cause damage. We do recommend you spray a small inconspicuous area to test for staining as not every single fabric could feasibly be tested.

QIs it safe to steam after an application of New Bedlam Plus?
I applied Bedlam plus to the cracks and crevices and seams on my sofa about four days ago. I then ordered a steamer because I was still getting bitten. How long do I need to wait before it's safe to use a steamer on the sofa? I have a Niosh approved dust mask for spraying that I can use while steaming.
A Once New Bedlam Plus is dry, it should be fine to steam, but we would highly recommend for you to steam before applying any type of insecticide. Please refer to our "How To Get Rid of Bed Bugs" article for a complete and step-to-step guide.

QCan I apply Bedlam Plus Aerosol inside drawers?
Hi, I've been using Temprid SC as a crack and crevice spray but I just purchased Bedlam Plus from you also to treat mattress sides and bedframe, etc. I used Temprid on the INSIDE of my dressers, NOT the drawers (meaning, I removed all the drawers and sprayed a light spray on the back and bottom and drawer slides but NOT inside the actual drawers, the drawers themselves have not been treated with anything) and I read somewhere that Bedlam Plus might be safe to spray inside the drawers in the cracks of the drawer. I'm not sure if this is okay since it may come into contact with clean clothes. I would not be spraying the whole drawer soaking wet, but rather, just around the perimeter of the drawer insides, lightly, NOT across the inside of the whole drawer. Is this safe to do or should I not do this? Thanks!
ANEW Bedlam Plus Aerosol can be applied inside drawers to cracks and crevices. Re apply every 2 weeks as needed.

QHow to properly use NEW Bedlam Plus Aerosol in conjunction with DE or dust?
Is it wise to spray this in already dust loaded crevices and cracks? Should you vacuum the dust before applying this pesticide? Thanks.
AYou are going to focus dusting to wall voids, cracks and crevices. You will apply the NEW Bedlam Plus Aerosol to bed frames, night stands, seams of mattresses, etc. Please visit our article for Bed Bed Control.
QDoes it continue to kill BB after it is dried?
Once you spray it on furniture or the edges of the apartment hardwood floors and cracks, it seems to dry quickly and fast and it never stays wet. How does it continue to kill Bed bugs and eggs the spray dies quickly? Or for continues killing, the dusts are better? I have 12 month old baby, so careful not to apply dusts which he could touch. Thanks
AYes, New Bedlam Plus Aerosol is a residual, meaning that it will keep the insecticide on the surface sprayed and continue to kill the insects that come in contact with it. This particular aerosol does not have to stay wet in order for it to work properly. We do recommend using Cimexa dust inside the wall voids for long term treatment. You want to make sure you are not using too much dust. A thin layer is perfectly fine inside the wall voids. The bed bugs will walk across it and dry out over time. It does take longer to work than an aerosol insecticide.

QIs Bedlam Plus effective on lice?
The ingredients are very close to regular Bedlam which is effective on lice, I have already purchased it & hope so. Can it be sprayed all over the mattress protector and all over the carpet? Will it mess up a smoke alarm, and do I need to worry about the stove's pilots being on as I probably won't spray in the kitchen?
ANo, Bedlam Plus is not labeled for lice. It is labeled to be sprayed on mattresses and on the carpet as well. Bedlam Plus should not affect your smoke alarm and the stove pilots will be unaffected as well. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
