Nuvan Directed Spray Aerosol

Nuvan Directed Spray Aerosol is an effective pesticide that will help eliminate ants, bed bugs, bed bug eggs, bees, cockroaches, flies, wasps, and more. Nuvan Directed Spray Aerosol is an extension of the Nuvan Prostrips. It uses Dichlorvos as its active ingredient and it guarantees to kill insect pests on contact and through vapor action. This aerosol pesticide is ideal to use on hard to reach areas in and around apartments, commercial buildings, hotels, motels, factories, warehouses, industrial buildings, and more. Once the spray has dried, people and pets can enter the treated area which is usually two hours after application.

    Inferior product. Doesn't kill bees

    Expert Response   Expert response:
Nuvan Directed Spray is a contact kill and should not be expected to perform as a residual insecticide. For bees or wasps, per the product label: "Spray localized infested areas where they light, nest and/or harbor. Repeat if they insects return, but not more than one time per month." We do sell many products for carpenter bees and other flying insects. You can view our carpenter bee kits here: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/carpenter-bees-c-142.html If you have honey bees, we recommend contacting a local beekeeping organization for assistance with removing the hive. We are also happy to assist with your individual situation over the phone at 866-581-7378 M-F 9a-5p EST.

QCan Nuvan Directed Spray Aerosol completely rid the bees inside our dry wall guest room?

A

Nuvan Directed Spray is labeled for bees, the label states, "spray localized infested areas where they light, nest and/or harbor. Repeat if the insects return, but not more than one time per month." Using a dust to treat the nests directly is more highly recommended.

Our most popular dust is Tempo 1% Dust.††If you know where the opening is where the bees are going in and out, and you dust that opening, the bees will get the dust on the hair on their legs and carry it back to the nesting area.† Usually this will eradicate a bee colony within 24 - 48 hours depending on the size.† It is best to treat the opening late at night or very early morning when they are all inside and less active.†
