Onslaught FastCap Spider & Scorpion Insecticide combines fast kill (action) and long residual activity against pests listed on this label when applied as surface or spot treatments, injected into wall voids, or as a crack and crevice spray in and around residential and commercial structures, as well as on turf and landscaping. Onslaught FastCap Spider & Scorpion Insecticide may be sprayed on any surface that will not be stained by water. DO NOT use this as a fogger or apply it as a space spray. Injector application equipment that delivers low volume treatments may be used to make crack and crevice injections or spot and general surface treatments.
Spiders, scorpions and other listed crawling insects Indoors:
Apply as a course, wet spray to surfaces where these pests are normally found. Treat floors, baseboards, around doors and windows, in attics, crawl spaces, eaves, corners, closets, walls, utility pipes, storage areas, and all cracks and crevices. Treat underneath sinks, dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, the underside of shelves, drawers, cabinets, areas behind pipes, and in all places where these insects shelter. Contact as many insects as possible with direct spray. Repeat applications as needed, but do not exceed more than one (1) application every seven (7) days.
Mixing tip. Shake Onslaught FastCap bottle well prior to mixing. Clean spray equipment before using or diluting Onslaught FastCap. For dilution, add half the required water to spray tank, then add the appropriate amount of Onslaught FastCap. Agitate the mixture, and then slowly add the remainder of the water. Agitate the spray thoroughly before using and also occasionally during use to ensure dispersion. If you use a spray filter screen, they should be 50 mesh or larger.
Use Onslaught FastCap as part of an IPM program. Tank mix Onslaught FastCap with an IGR such as NyGuard IGR Concentrate to break the insect growth cycle and control future emerging insect populations. Do not apply Onslaught FastCap as a fog or space spray. Fog first with a product such as Riptide Water-Based Pyrethrin ULV to get the quick knockdown action of the fog followed by a surface application of Onslaught FastCap for residual control.

Initial review on effectiveness vs scorpions
By Scott in Chandler Az on 03/02/2014
Main Target Pest- Bark Scorpion I have used Cykick, Cyper WP, Bifen IT, Demand, and suspend polyzone for scorpion control here in AZ. Cyckick seems to be the best so far. I don't have a huge problem with them, but I have found the occasional one indoors. I black light ~ every night once the temp is warm enough at night to monitor activity. I spray onslaught for the first time in mid feb. I went out 1 week later and found a dead one against the cinder block wall. I don't normally see this even with Cykick, so I got lucky or this stuff works well. It is also cheaper than Cykick per finished gallon once the price drop to _ 60/ bottle. I will use until gone and see how well it control scorpions this summer.

I live in an area where pests are common, this product controls them all. Bed bugs, fleas, ants, roaches, wasps, spiders scorpions... I had zero problems since I started using it. This product also lasts a long time, its around much longer than other products I have tried in the past.

Works Great!!!! If you have scorpions get it!
By Dana in Cumming, GA on 09/23/2013
I would really recommend this product. I got it for spiders & scorpions both inside & outside the house. I've only used inside so far but it works. I don't know if this stuff calls out the scorpions but 3 are dead so far. I didn't even know i had that many scorpions around. I live in a new development in a heavily wooded area so I expected critters, never scorpions though.

Great poduct and service!!!
By Darren in California on 11/16/2012
Your web site is user friendly and easy to navigate. The cost of your products are at or lower than others sites. I did find a sprayer on another site that was lower and I sent you the link. You then lowered the price and I purchased it along with insecticide. By the way, Onslaught Fastcap Spider Insecticide does what it says it will do!! Great product! Great company! I could'nt ask for a better outcome.

We live in a National Forest surrounded by heavy forest. After years of paying $95+ per regular scheduled visits by a pest control company, we still had scorpions inside of our home. We knew something had to be done better than a local pest control service. After web searching, we came across this company and the product Onslaught. One application of Onslaught (2tbs) per gallon wiped out the scorpions & all other creeping critters! Best pest control product we have purchased. We cancelled our pest control service! We applied Onslaught on fire ants just to see what the results would be...killed them all dead within a few minutes! We highly recommend this product.

The chemical does its job. I mixed with CyKick. Don't forget to shake after mixing. Takes care of scorpions too! Stays active at good intensity for ~30 days.

Too many call backs
By Josh in Peyton on 11/07/2016
Initally this product did great with knocking down the noticeable spiders. But it was crap with residual. The call backs on this product has been 100%, thus I've taken this product off my inventory shelves.
Works very well
By Stacy in Randolph, NY on 11/07/2016
Fast Cap works very well for spiders as well as Asian lady beetles. Couldn't believe the pile of dead beetles just a few hrs later. Great product! I will use again!
By Dp in Hillcountry, TX on 10/26/2016
We have a weekend home in the Texas Hillcountry that is vacant most weeks and Bark Scorpions have made themselves at home during our absence, we tried the common house insect sprays without much success. Onslaught FastCap(OFC) was recommended by our primary home pest control service tech, he said he heard it was suppose to be effective in controlling spiders & scorpions. Ordered the OFC and have been using it for over (5) months following the recommended coverage inside & outside and spraying every (4) weeks. We also keep the grass perimeter around the house closely mowed and make sure there are no rubbish buildups. For the most part, the problem has diminished; we find less and less dead scorpions upon our return, and rarely see live ones. We recommend this product based on the result, we are ordering another bottle.
a bit of short from 16oz
By Azmi in queen creek, az on 10/19/2016
this is an excellent product. i would like to give it a 5 star rating, but my last purchase was a bit less than 16oz. being so expensive, even a fraction of an ounce matters a great deal.
Thank you for your feedback! We are not aware of any shortages that have occurred in FastCap packaging, but please let us know if you ever have concerns about this, or if it appears your product may have leaked in transit. Keep in mind, too, that some product may be in the small measuring cup reservoir from shipping.

Brushed off webs and that made them all come out. Sprayed foundation an the eves where thy love. Saw a few for two days. After that I haven't seen any. This makes 26 gallons and I used three.
Perfect solution to my Scorpion problem.
By Kevin in Henderson, NV on 10/13/2016
This stuff works great! Recommend by another person that uses it for scorpions. Once dry it is pet and kid safe. You won't see one scorpion, black widow, brown recluse, or anything else. Eventhought the scorpions and spiders seemed to eat everything else. No more ant hills either. I spray about every 3 months to keep the bugs away. I only spray outside very thoroughly and never see anything. Every situation is different so you may need to spay less or more often. Get a UV light to check every month at night for scorpions. They are the strongest pest to kill so they always come back first then I know I need to spray again. But it keeps them away for months when nothing else works. Much cheaper than any pest control guy. And most of the time they won't have the right spray to get scorpions. Thus gets them all!
Only good on contact
By Josh in Peyton on 10/07/2016
Great for initial knock down. But the residual is horrible. I introduced this product with my company a month ago. But the call backs have been off the charts. I shelved this product for now. If I get a call for a serious spider infestation I will use it. But thats only if I can spray the spider directly.

QOnslaught versus Demand, Cykick or Cyzmic for Scorpions
To eliminate scorpions, is Onslaught the strongest, most effective insecticide to spray indoors and out? My treatments have included Demand, Cysmic and Cykick CS and Aerosol (aerosol for knockdown and cracks and crevices) and now am hearing about Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion insecticide and wonder if it is stronger or the strongest. My thought is, if I'm spending money on insecticide and investing time to treat my home to ward off these horrible scorpions that I fear, I want the most effective product on the market. I'd rather purchase and concentrate on the best! Thanks.
AThe Onslaught FastCap would definitely be the best option for your needs. It is specifically formulated to better target spiders and scorpions with a more thorough and long lasting coverage for these hard to kill pests. Keep in mind, no matter what product you are using for scorpions, you have to create a wider barrier for them than any other pest around your home. For general insects you would treat with a barrier around the foundation 2 feet up and 2 feet out. With scorpions you should be doing 2-3 feet up and 6-10 feet out on the ground. Also make sure to treat any landscape areas around your home that they would be prone to hiding in ie: mulch, bark, landscape timbers, rocks etc. You can review more information for protecting your home from scorpions in our article on Scorpion Control.

QWhat's the best indoor spray for spiders?
Our church fellowship hall has an increasing amount of spiders and spider eggs. We are in a rural area of Ohio. They don't bother me that much...but a few female members are scared. What do you recommend? Please note we EAT in the fellowship hall.
AThe absolute best indoor/outdoor spider spray is Onslaught Fastcap. This one of a kind formulation is made of Exponent brand synergist, Esfenvalerate, and Prallethrin. Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide can be applied in a number of areas both indoor and outdoor, as well as food areas (see label for complete list).

QOnslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide vs. Demand CS?
I have had good results with Demand CS for controlling mosquitoes, wasps, dirt doppers and, to a lesser degree, spiders in our outdoor living areas and around the overhangs of our house. It appears from the produce descriptions that the Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scopion product may provide a more targeted control for spiders. Might I see more effective control of spiders around the exterior of the house if I were to use BOTH products (Demand CS and Onslaught) at the same time?
AThese products should not be mixed together. There is no valid reason to mix Demand CS and Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion together. Demand CS is a synthetic pyrethroid and Onslaught FastCap already contains a synthetic pyrethroid, so there would be nothing to gain by mixing these products together. Making a pesticide too strong can actually backfire. Areas that are treated with this overly concentrated spray will be repellent and insects will simply avoid the treated areas prolonging the infestation.

QHow much Onslaught do I mix into a 15 gallon Pull Behind Sprayer?
I have a house and a shed to treat. How much Onslaught to mix into a 15 gallon Pull Behind Sprayer? Sprayer is pulled by mower. I have a light to medium spider problem. How much to mix with 15 gallons of water?
A The mixing ratio for Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide is 1 fl oz per gallon of water. You will use 15 fl oz in 15 gallons of water.

QIs FastCap or Suspend SC better for controlling spiders, roaches and crickets outdoors?
A Based on where you are located, the Onslaught FastCap would be a better choice for you. FastCap has additional active ingredients to allow for faster kill of target insects when first spraying, and it has encapsulated technology for better residual in heat and sunlight. We would recommend the newer Suspend Polyzone over Suspend SC.

QCan I use Onslaught FastCap in a backpack fogger or just in a hand held pump sprayer?
Can it be applied to St. Augustine and Bahiagrass? Also, can it be used on Hibiscus, canna lillies, fruit trees, crate myrtle trees, all kinds of trees. I have a lot of flowers and plants. The main target is wolf spiders & wasps.
A Onslaught FastCap cannot be applied any fogger, but it can be applied in a hand held pump sprayer or backpack sprayer. It is safe to apply on the St. Augustine and Bahiagrass. It can be applied under and around ornamentals and trees. It is labeled for spiders including wolf spiders as well as wasps.

QIs there a knockdown for Black Widow and Brown Recluse spiders that is pet friendly once dry?
We have a ton of black widow and brown recluse spiders on our porch and are trying to get rid of them, I have sprayed with other insecticides (Talstar P) and Suspend but I was wondering if there is any fast knockdown that I can use, we do have animals out there (dogs and cats) but they can be removed until it dries. The spiders are also located over our pool so I would imagine that some spray will get in there (What happens in that case, how long till the dogs can go in the pool)
A A great contact and residual spray for spiders and other more aggressive pests is Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide. Onslaught FastCap has both a fast-acting knockdown and residual activity.†If you would like something that is all-natural, then I would suggest Essentria IC3 Insecticide, which does not have restrictions for use around bodies of water.

QWould Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide be a good product for general purpose as well as spider control?
I live in Arizona. I have spiders, crickets, etc. in my home and garage. We are in a new build area so we are also concerned about scorpions. I'd like something I could spray every few months and not worry about it. Where should I spray for Spiders etc. that can go up the walls? Thanks.
A Yes, Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion †Insecticide would be a great product for general purpose pest as well as spider and scorpion control. It will give you a 90 day residual both indoor and outdoor as well.†
