Onslaught FastCap Spider & Scorpion Insecticide combines fast kill (action) and long residual activity against pests listed on this label when applied as surface or spot treatments, injected into wall voids, or as a crack and crevice spray in and around residential and commercial structures, as well as on turf and landscaping. Onslaught FastCap Spider & Scorpion Insecticide may be sprayed on any surface that will not be stained by water. DO NOT use this as a fogger or apply it as a space spray. Injector application equipment that delivers low volume treatments may be used to make crack and crevice injections or spot and general surface treatments.
Spiders, scorpions and other listed crawling insects Indoors:
Apply as a course, wet spray to surfaces where these pests are normally found. Treat floors, baseboards, around doors and windows, in attics, crawl spaces, eaves, corners, closets, walls, utility pipes, storage areas, and all cracks and crevices. Treat underneath sinks, dishwashers, refrigerators, stoves, the underside of shelves, drawers, cabinets, areas behind pipes, and in all places where these insects shelter. Contact as many insects as possible with direct spray. Repeat applications as needed, but do not exceed more than one (1) application every seven (7) days.
Mixing tip. Shake Onslaught FastCap bottle well prior to mixing. Clean spray equipment before using or diluting Onslaught FastCap. For dilution, add half the required water to spray tank, then add the appropriate amount of Onslaught FastCap. Agitate the mixture, and then slowly add the remainder of the water. Agitate the spray thoroughly before using and also occasionally during use to ensure dispersion. If you use a spray filter screen, they should be 50 mesh or larger.
Use Onslaught FastCap as part of an IPM program. Tank mix Onslaught FastCap with an IGR such as NyGuard IGR Concentrate to break the insect growth cycle and control future emerging insect populations. Do not apply Onslaught FastCap as a fog or space spray. Fog first with a product such as Riptide Water-Based Pyrethrin ULV to get the quick knockdown action of the fog followed by a surface application of Onslaught FastCap for residual control.

Initial review on effectiveness vs scorpions
By Scott in Chandler Az on 03/02/2014
Main Target Pest- Bark Scorpion I have used Cykick, Cyper WP, Bifen IT, Demand, and suspend polyzone for scorpion control here in AZ. Cyckick seems to be the best so far. I don't have a huge problem with them, but I have found the occasional one indoors. I black light ~ every night once the temp is warm enough at night to monitor activity. I spray onslaught for the first time in mid feb. I went out 1 week later and found a dead one against the cinder block wall. I don't normally see this even with Cykick, so I got lucky or this stuff works well. It is also cheaper than Cykick per finished gallon once the price drop to _ 60/ bottle. I will use until gone and see how well it control scorpions this summer.

Works Great!!!! If you have scorpions get it!
By Dana in Cumming, GA on 09/23/2013
I would really recommend this product. I got it for spiders & scorpions both inside & outside the house. I've only used inside so far but it works. I don't know if this stuff calls out the scorpions but 3 are dead so far. I didn't even know i had that many scorpions around. I live in a new development in a heavily wooded area so I expected critters, never scorpions though.

Great poduct and service!!!
By Darren in California on 11/16/2012
Your web site is user friendly and easy to navigate. The cost of your products are at or lower than others sites. I did find a sprayer on another site that was lower and I sent you the link. You then lowered the price and I purchased it along with insecticide. By the way, Onslaught Fastcap Spider Insecticide does what it says it will do!! Great product! Great company! I could'nt ask for a better outcome.

We live in a National Forest surrounded by heavy forest. After years of paying $95+ per regular scheduled visits by a pest control company, we still had scorpions inside of our home. We knew something had to be done better than a local pest control service. After web searching, we came across this company and the product Onslaught. One application of Onslaught (2tbs) per gallon wiped out the scorpions & all other creeping critters! Best pest control product we have purchased. We cancelled our pest control service! We applied Onslaught on fire ants just to see what the results would be...killed them all dead within a few minutes! We highly recommend this product.

I live in the North Georgia mountains known for the abundance of little brown scorpions and big spiders. When I purchased my log home last year, it was infested with these creepy little beasts. After treating around the foundation with this insecticide, I have eradicated the beasts from inside the home as well as spiders building webs and nests outside the home. Great stuff.

Who's house is it? My house!!
By Eric in Tolleson, AZ on 09/15/2015
I have been living in my house 5yrs and have had scorpion problems since day 1. In and outside of the home. I have purchased 2-3 other insecticides here to spray myself as they work better than hiring a Pest Control Co. to spray same stuff and maybe more diluted. I have been switching up brands to avoid getting scorpions "numb" to sprays. This was 1st time using Onslaught FastCap and it appears to be the best as I can see many dead scorpions appear later that night after spraying around my home's perimeter. Pricey than the other stuff but will definitely keep in my cycle of ammo.

I am amazed how outstanding this product is to get rid of the scorpions, we are not seeing any since we start using this product. I definately recommend it to everyone who is experiencing problems with scorpions. We used to see over 12 in our yard and some in our house, actually since we start using this product we no longer have to spray inside our home, just the outside. I am so glad I discovered this product. I also want to comment how great this company is, the service and the follow up is very professional and they sure care to make sure customers are happy and the products we purchase meets our expectations. Thank you

Very Satisfied with Kill and Residual
By Tom in Tucson, AZ on 11/25/2014
Our property backs up to open desert, so scorpions were a serious problem. We tried a couple of hardware store solutions but they were ineffective. FastCap was clearly superior. We saw numerous dead bugs during the weeks following application, so no question about the immediate kill. The residual also worked well, as we spotted only an occasional scorpion at the 3 month reapplication date.

Quick kill- Weak residual
By G in Greenville, SC on 08/07/2013
I'm confident you will love the quick kill on spiders and especially paper wasps! The residual of this product is almost non-existent. Spiders were back to rebuilding webs a couple days later. It's a good product, but just it's not the miracle product others have claimed it to be.

QOnslaught versus Demand, Cykick or Cyzmic for Scorpions
To eliminate scorpions, is Onslaught the strongest, most effective insecticide to spray indoors and out? My treatments have included Demand, Cysmic and Cykick CS and Aerosol (aerosol for knockdown and cracks and crevices) and now am hearing about Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion insecticide and wonder if it is stronger or the strongest. My thought is, if I'm spending money on insecticide and investing time to treat my home to ward off these horrible scorpions that I fear, I want the most effective product on the market. I'd rather purchase and concentrate on the best! Thanks.
AThe Onslaught FastCap would definitely be the best option for your needs. It is specifically formulated to better target spiders and scorpions with a more thorough and long lasting coverage for these hard to kill pests. Keep in mind, no matter what product you are using for scorpions, you have to create a wider barrier for them than any other pest around your home. For general insects you would treat with a barrier around the foundation 2 feet up and 2 feet out. With scorpions you should be doing 2-3 feet up and 6-10 feet out on the ground. Also make sure to treat any landscape areas around your home that they would be prone to hiding in ie: mulch, bark, landscape timbers, rocks etc. You can review more information for protecting your home from scorpions in our article on Scorpion Control.

QIs Onslaught FastCap safe to use in homes with dogs?

QWhat's the best indoor spray for spiders?
Our church fellowship hall has an increasing amount of spiders and spider eggs. We are in a rural area of Ohio. They don't bother me that much...but a few female members are scared. What do you recommend? Please note we EAT in the fellowship hall.
AThe absolute best indoor/outdoor spider spray is Onslaught Fastcap. This one of a kind formulation is made of Exponent brand synergist, Esfenvalerate, and Prallethrin. Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide can be applied in a number of areas both indoor and outdoor, as well as food areas (see label for complete list).

QOnslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide vs. Demand CS?
I have had good results with Demand CS for controlling mosquitoes, wasps, dirt doppers and, to a lesser degree, spiders in our outdoor living areas and around the overhangs of our house. It appears from the produce descriptions that the Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scopion product may provide a more targeted control for spiders. Might I see more effective control of spiders around the exterior of the house if I were to use BOTH products (Demand CS and Onslaught) at the same time?
AThese products should not be mixed together. There is no valid reason to mix Demand CS and Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion together. Demand CS is a synthetic pyrethroid and Onslaught FastCap already contains a synthetic pyrethroid, so there would be nothing to gain by mixing these products together. Making a pesticide too strong can actually backfire. Areas that are treated with this overly concentrated spray will be repellent and insects will simply avoid the treated areas prolonging the infestation.

QWhat can I spray to treat scorpions and spiders?
A We would recommend that you apply Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide. It is mixed at 1 oz per gallon of water and the pint size bottle will treat 16,000 sq ft for a 30 day residual. It also treats over 200+ insects. You can apply it in a backpack sprayer on the siding, crack and crevices on the interior and exterior, garage etc.

QOutside temperature where it is applied.
Would extreme summer temperatures 110+ affect how long the product will be effective after mixing and spraying ?
AYes extreme sunlight/temperatures and other outdoor elements will affect how long the product lasts on the surface. The Onslaught is designed to hold up to the outdoor elements a little longer and better than other general insecticides so you should get at least 30 to 60 day residual out of the product after its sprayed.

QWould either Onslaught or Demon be a good alternative Cy Kick CS?
I have used CyKick monthly for about a couple of years. This summer I have found a few scorpions in the house. Are they becoming resistant to CyKick ? Which of these 2 products would be better as an alternative to CyKick.
AIf you have been using the same product for a long time, it would be a good idea to switch. Onslaught Fast Cap would be a good choice. It contains different active ingredients, including PBO. PBO gives the Fast Cap an extra kick in killing more quickly. It is also microencapsulated like Cy Kick, providing for a longer lasting residual and making it easier for the scorpions to pick up.
08/21/2014 Henry from Las Vegas Nevada
QWill respraying Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide be necessary after a moderate rainfall.
AThere is no need to respray Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide after a rain as long as the treated area was dried before the rain. There is a 60-90 day residual for Onslaught Fasttrac.
07/10/2014 James from Crowley
QIf I spray my house with Onslaught FastCap and it rains within 30 mins will it still work ?
AOnslaught FastCap as well as many other liquid insecticides only need about 30 minutes to dry. Once dry, they can hold up to rain rather well. However, it is much easier for the product to bond to porous surfaces like concrete and siding then grass and your lawn. You may want to apply again just to be safe when there is not rain in the forecast for at least 24 hours

QIs there a benefit to Onslaught FastCap vs. regular Onslaught?
I've been using regular Onslaught for residual hornet, ant, and earwig control. Is there a benefit to switching from regular Onslaught to FastCap? Either way, I need to buy another bottle, and want to make sure I'm getting the best.
AThe biggest difference of Onslaught Fastap and Onslaught are the Onslaught Fastcap combines a one of a kind formulation is made of Exponent brand synergist, Esfenvalerate, and Prallethrin. So Onslaught Fastcap offers an even quicker more intense knockdown.
08/06/2013 Shawn from Benton, La
QDoes Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide leave a visual residue?
I'd like to spray this product along my interior baseboards for a nuisance spider problem. I have hardwood floors and I've used Suspend SC for pest control before and it leaves a slight white residue.
AOnslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide should dry clear and not leave a visible residue
06/27/2013 Brian from Or
QIs the PBO in this product encapsulated?
The Q&A page for Exponent says the ingredient PBO "Once dry, exponent does not leave a residual and will not kill anything after it dries and evaporates." Is this true for the PBO in Onslaught FastCap? Or is it encapsulated with the other ingredients?
AAll the active ingredients in Onslaught FastCap Spider and Scorpion Insecticide, including Piperonyl Butoxide, are microencapsulated in order to provide users with a long lasting residual and a quick knockdown.
05/24/2013 Mike from San Antonio, Texas
I currently use CyKick CS with good results and decent scorpion control. However, Iím always looking for more effective ways to knock out these dangerous pests. That said, how does Onslaught Fast Cap compare to CyKick CS for scorpion control? Would my results be better with Onslaught or very similar to the performance of CyKick CS? Also, if I decided to try Onslaught Fast Cap, is there a ďgenericĒ alternative thatís easier on my wallet? Thanks.
AOnslaught Fast Cap contains different active ingredients including PBO. PBO gives the Fast Cap an extra kick in killing more quickly. Cykick Cs and Fast Cap are both microencapsulated providing for a longer lasting residual and making it easier for the scorpion to pick up.

QI was told that Bed Bugs become immune or resistant to a a pesticide after so long. Is this true? I have been
Will this be a good replacement for Transport GHP?
AIt takes many years for any insect to build up a resistance to a product and when they do, it is normally due to mis-use of a chemical that allowed them to do this. While it is good if you are treating an area that comes into contact with bed bugs frequently-ie: hotel, apartment, rental homes-to change your active ingredients periodically, you would not need to swap unless you were having a problem. The Transport GHP is a great product for bed bugs, however the manufacturer actually prefers the Transport Mikron for treatments over the GHP. If you wanted to swap to a different product, we would recommend something like Temprid SC that will also have a double ingredient like the Transport. Products like these are specifically designed to have 2 ingredients so that if you run across a bed bug that is resistant to one of them, the other ingredient is there waiting to still kill them. The only known resistance currently is to first generation sythetic pyrethroids. Most insecticides on the market for bed bugs currently are either second generation, or not pyrethroid based at all. Keep in mind you should be using more than just a concentrated product to control a bed bug infestation properly and quickly. Please refer to our article on How To Get Rid of Bed Bugs for more information on treatments.
