My wife and I built a timber frame home in the middle of the woods about 1/3 of a mile off the road in rural Ohio. The bug population is significantly higher when you place a home in this environment . We used many wood products to finish off the exterior, of the home, and we knew it would need regular extermination attention to keep the stinging bugs, wood boaring insects, spiders, mosquitoes etc. off the house. We selected Onslaught for its broad spectrum of coverage. It also remains active for up to 3 months. I have found that in the summer and fall the coverage is between 2 to 3 months. I believe this is due to the overall density of the bugs. It is impressive that on the day of application every bug either grabs their exit visa or I find them dead around the parameter of the house. We use the product inside and out. We are very impressed with this product. We did look into the price of one application from a private exterminator and the quote was $350.00. This is more than the price of a gallon of Onslaught. Our approach has been to use 1 ounce of Onslaught per gallon of water due to the conditions the house sits in. We use about 12 ounces total per application (3 tank fulls of 4 oz. of Onslaught In a 4 gallon backpack sprayer) for the outside perimeter, including landscape that is close to the home, the full basement and the living area of a 2400 sq foot ranch. This converts to about 10 full applications at a total cost of $322.00 for a gallon of Onslaught vs $3500.00 for 10 applications by an exterminator at $350.00 per application. Yes you have to do the work, but hauling a 4 gallon sprayer on your back and killing a bunch of bugs is great exercise and therapeutic. We are glad we found your product. Bill and Monica
