    Planting new sod (ripped out old grass full of weeds) should I spray Oxadiazon 2SC Herbicide on dirt as a preventative?

    Will Oxadiazon SC Herbicide have any impact on the perennial rye used on over-seeded bermuda?
    A

    Oxadiazon SC Herbicide should be used only on dormant established Bermuda, St. Augustine, and Zoysia turf grasses. We would not recommend using this herbicide in areas where there is desirable rye or other cool-season grasses, or on new plantings until the turgrass is established.

    Will Oxadiazon SC Herbicide works as a post emergent selective herbicide in cool season turf?

    Oxadiazon SC Herbicide is not a post emergent. Please refer to our Lawn Care Guide for recommendations for your turf.

    Can Oxadiazon SC Herbicide be applied to cool season grasses?
    Ronstar g says it can be and the active ingredient appears to be the same.

    Oxadiazon SC Herbicide is a herbicide for the pre-emergent control of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in conifer nurseries, warm-season commercial turf and ornamentals. It is not for cool season turf or residential home lawns.

    Is Oxadiazon SC Herbicide labeled to kill lawn stickers or burweed?
    A

    Oxadiazon SC Herbicide is not labeled for lawn stickers aka burweed. Pendulum 2G Herbicide is labeled for pre-emergent control of lawn burweed. Please check the product label to make sure your turfgrass is listed as tolerant.
