    Pennington Nursery Landscape Fertilizer 14-7-7  provides nutrients gradually.  If you are looking for slow release nitrogen, you can use Fertilome Classic Lawn food 16-0-8 with slow release Nitrogen.

    Can Pennington Nursery Landscape Fertilizer 14-7-7 be used on Bermuda Grass where my local extension office has recommended a 16-4-8 fertilizer be applied based on a soil sample I provided?
    My soil sample from the University of Georgia is calling for 16-4-8. 14-7-7 is about the closest thing I can find. Can I use this particular fertilizer on established Bermuda Grass in the state of Georgia?

    Yes, Pennington Nursery Landscape Fertilizer 14-7-7 can be used on Bermudagrass. The formulation recommended indicates that your soil needs an adequate amount of nitrogen (16) This is a common nutrient needed in lawns due to weather elements washing the nitrogen from the soil. The Phosphorus amount (4) would suggest that the root system has strongly developed and has the strength to mildly withstand diseases. The Potassium level (8) is what will strengthen the root structure and further support development that will aid and help continue fighting diseases in your lawn.
