5 of 5 people found this review helpful:   Kiss your indoor ant problems goodbye By Philip on June 5, 2009 For weeks I've been dealing with annoying little black ants (argentine or sugar ants I think) coming in and around the back door of my house and eating all of the Cheerios our little baby keeps dropping on the kitchen floor. We tried everything to stop the ants, but whatever we used or sprayed on them would just keep them away for a day or so, and then they would just pop out of the wall somewhere else. Then I tried this Phantom spray. Wow, does this stuff work! I sprayed just a line of Phantom along the bottom of the back door and where the ants were coming in, and within minutes there were dead ants everywhere I sprayed. Q  Hello, I want to get the Phantom Spray for the bedbug problem in my apartment. It is recommended that we use the phantom spray only in cracks and crevices. Can I use it in combination with Diatamaceous earth? I like the phantom spray for cracks and crevices and DE for the carpets. Please let me know. A You can use Phantom Aerosol spray in the same area as other products like Diatomaceous Earth. Phantom Aerosol Spray is ideal for cracks and crevices and has been proven to be very effective against bed bugs. Good Luck!

Q  Can I spray Phantom and then later on spray Bedlam over the same area? Can I spray Onslaught and Phantom over the same area at different intervals? There is a small spot area underneath my computer table where the bugs are especially active and probably live between the floor tiles. I would like to spray the Phantom for long-term control and the Onslaught or Bedlam for more immediate control. A You should apply one or the other, but not two in the same place.  All of the products you had mentioned are very good products and it really is overkill to apply two in the same place.  Bedlam and Onslaught may work a little quicker than Phantom and because of this it would not benefit you to spray Phantom over another product.  The Bedlam and Onslought will kill the bugs just the same, and adding Phantom would not make them work quicker or more effectively.  All of this being said it would not hurt anything to apply Phantom over the same area, but it would not be very cost effective.

Q  Has there been any report of bed bugs becoming resistant to Phantom? A Phantom is currently one of the most promising products for bed bug control available right now.  It has shown very good results against bed bug colonies that are resistant to other products and to date has not shown any resistance to the Phantom itself.
