How do I use Precor Plus Fogger?

It is very important to completely read and understand the product label before using this product.

 

1. Vacuum thoroughly before fogging. To ensure unobstructed flow of fogger mist, open inside doors and cabinets. Remove or cover exposed food, dishes, utensils, food preparation equipment, and surfaces. Remove pets and birds and remove or cover (and turn off) aquariums. Close outside doors and windows. TURN OFF ALL IGNITION SOURCES SUCH AS PILOT LIGHTS (SHUT OFF GAS VALVES), OTHER OPEN FLAMES, OR RUNNING ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES THAT CYCLE OFF AND ON (i.e., REFRIGERATORS, THERMOSTATS, etc.). Call your gas utility or management company if you need assistance with your pilot lights.U
2. Use 1 container for each 30' X 25' room with an 8' ceiling). DO NOT USE MORE THAN 1 FOGGER PER ROOM. DO NOT USE IN SMALL ENCLOSED SPACES SUCH AS CLOSETS, CABINETS, OR UNDER COUNTERS OR TABLES. DO NOT USE IN A ROOM 5' x 5' OR SMALLER; INSTEAD, ALLOW FOG TO ENTER FROM OTHER ROOMS.
3. Remove all motor vehicles before fogging garage.
4. Elevate fogger by placing on stand or table covered by newspaper in center of room to be fogged. Newspapers should be spread on the floor for several feet around area of release.
5. Before activating, tilt can away from face (container sprays straight up). Press down firmly on edge of actuator tab until it locks into place.
6. After activating fogger, leave room or house IMMEDIATELY. Keep treated area closed for at least 2 hours, then open all doors and windows and allow treated area to air for 1 hour before returning.
7. For best results, spot treat with Precor 2000 Plus Premise spray under beds, furniture, or obstructed areas where fogger mist may not penetrate.

Q  If I use the Precor Plus Fogger for the basement, can we be upstairs in the house while it is running? I have interior access to my basement via a door. I have a child and 4 cats that will also be in the house. A You can remain in the house while using Precor Plus Fogger in the basement, as long as you can be seperated from the application, and the main ventilation system to the entire house is not in the basement.  If it is, you would either need to leave the house entirely for 2 hours, or turn off the ventilation system before you release the fog and leave it off for 2 hours after you have applied it.  If you do remain in the house, you should place a towel under the door to keep the product from coming up the stairs into the house.  After 2 hours, you should open doors and windows in the basement to allow for fresh air flow for 1 hour before occupying the basement again.

Q  What kind of clean up do I need to do after fogging my home with the can of fogger? A After setting off the Precor Plus Fogger you should leave the house for 2 hours and then upon returning, open doors and windows and let the house air out for 1 hour.  The only clean up you need to worry about would be food handling surfaces like your countertops.  You should wipe them down with soap and water if you fogged in the kitchen.
