    Q
What fogger can I use in a Small Crawl Space for Fleas?
I have a small crawl space where I have a flea infestation, and I'm wondering what is the best product (fogger) to use for it. It is probably only 120 sf of floor space, and with a 3' height it probably has a total of 360 cubic feet. What's the best product to use for this? Thanks.
    A

We recommend to use Precor Plus Fogger to treat the crawlspace for fleas. The Permethrin in Precor Plus Fogger immediately kills adult fleas, while Precor IGR prevents pre-adult fleas from creating new infestations of breeding, biting adults.

We would recommend doing treatments of Precor Plus Fogger with IGR every two weeks until you are no longer seeing any fleas. This should be used in conjuction with Precor 2000 Plus Aerosol to treat the areas the fogger cannot get to.

    Q
How do I clean my home after using the Precor Plus Fogger with IGR?
It is a studio apt, so it was set off near my bed with clothes in the drawers underneath. Do I need to wash everything? I closed the door to the bathroom which also has 2 closet with clothes. Do I have to wash those also? Thank you.
    A

If you treated with Precor Plus Foggers in a carpeted area, you want to leave that there so that it provides the residual effect for the two weeks. If a hardwood surface was done, it is safe to mop the area up after the product has had time to dry. Per the manufacturer, you do not have to wash the clothes that were exposed unless you are concerned about them.

  • Asked by Lilly from Los Angeles

    Q
Do I need to cover furniture when I set off the Precor Plus Fogger with IGR?
Several forums say to cover furniture with sheets before I use the fogger, but I want the fogger to get fleas out of my furniture too. Is it safe to leave the furniture uncovered when I use the fogger? Please let me know ASAP, as I am using the fogger in a few days.
    A

Covering the furniture would prevent the fog from penetrating into any areas it could reach within the furniture so we would not recommend doing so. The main things to cover would be utensils or exposed food/food prep areas or wipe them down and clean them after. As long as the fogger is used correctly its safe to leave the furniture uncovered.

  • Asked by Gaynell from Indianapolis, Indiana
    01/04/2015
    Q
Which one is best CB PCO Total Release Fogger or Precor plus fogger with igr?
    A
The answer to that is entirely dependent on the pest you are treating for. Precor fogger with IGR is specifically for fleas so if that is what you are treating for then it would be the preferred fogger over the CB PCO Fogger. That being said, if you are treating for fleas indoors, foggers are not the best way to go as they give you ZERO continuous contol and will only kill what they come directly into contact with. It would be much better to use the Precor 2000 Plus spray with IGR as this leaves behind a residual that is safe to us, children and pets once dry but will continue to kill and prevent fleas for months. Typically 2 applications are needed 14 days apart and daily or every other day vacuuming to suck up any dead fleas and flea feces. If you are not treating for fleas, whether the CB PCO fogger will work for your needs is going to need more information from you on what pest you are looking to eliminate.

    Q
Can I leave my cat in the house when I use Precor Plus Fogger with IGR?
We can't take out the cat but i want to know if can i leave the cat inside the home?
    A

All animals and people must be out of the home when any insecticide spray or fogger is being used and they need to remain out until all surfaces have dried and the home has been aired out after using a fogger. Be sure to follow the product label when using Precor Pus Fogger with IGR or any other insecticides.

    Q
Will Precor Plus Fogger work on german cockroaches?
    A
Precor Plus Fogger will kill roaches that come in contact with it, but not stop the problem. It really takes a combination of products to eradicate roaches. This is why we recommend to use one of our Roach Control Kits.

  • Asked by Chesney from Elizabethtown, Ky
    09/24/2014
    Q
Why am I still seeing fleas? Should I treat again?
A month after my 2nd treatment and vacuuming every other day, I am still seeing fleas 2 to 3 times a week.
    A
Yes, we would recommend treating again. If you have pets, we would recommend getting them treated as well. It is possible that there have been more eggs that have hatched that were missed initially. Depending on how bad the infestation was will depend on how many times you will treat. If you are still seeing fleas, treating again would be recommended. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

  • Asked by Doris from Philadelphia, Pa
    04/22/2019
    Q
Should you use Precor 2000 for cracks, woodwork, carpets and yard prior to using the Precor foggers?
    A

Precor Foggers would be used if a flea infestation indoors was very severe and you needed a quick knock down before going in to complete a full flea treatment. You can use products like Precor 2000 or Ultracide to spray carpets, rugs, hardwood, baseboards, and pet bedding for flea control. These are not outdoor products so you will want to use concentrated insecticides you mix with water to treat outdoor areas frequented by pets. Both of those products contain a residual insecticide that will continue to kill any fleas that touch the treated surfaces after its dry, along with an IGR to stop the reproductive cycle of the fleas. A thorough vacuuming should be performed throughout the entire home first, then apply an even light coating of the product to the infested surfaces, then vacuum daily or every other day for 14 days at which time you would complete a second treatment. You can see detailed info as well as other product options for flea treatments in our Flea Control Guide. We have info and how to videos that go over indoor, outdoor, and on pet treatments.

  • Asked by Carol from Charlotte, Nc

    Q
Does Precor Plus Fogger leaves an oily residue? If so do you have a can fogger that does not leave an oil residue?
    A

The Precor Plus Fogger with IGR should not leave an oily residue behind on surfaces as its meant to be used in living spaces of the home for knock down. Keep in mind, foggers will almost never control or eliminate an entire flea population and residual treatments and other steps/products will be needed to be successful. We would suggest reading over our guide on How to Get Rid of Fleas Indoors so you can learn about the proper treatment techniques, what products work best in the home, and what other steps like vacuuming daily or every other day will be needed to eliminate them as quickly as possible.
