How To Apply Pro-Citra DL:
ProCitra-DL works best on contact. Contact as many insects as possible when making a Crack & Crevice or spot application.
CRACK & CREVICE TREATMENT: Use ProCitra-DL only with the supplied actuators and injection tubes or Whitmire Micro-Gen system equipment. Inject ProCitra-DL into cracks and crevices or void spaces where insects may be living and breeding. Place injector tip into cracks, crevices, holes and other small openings. Release approximately one second of product. For light infestations, move injector tip along cracks while treating at the rate of three linear feet per second. For heavy infestations, move injector tip along at one linear foot per second. For closed voids, calculate the void’s cubic area and treat at the rate of one to five seconds per three cubic feet. Several holes may be required in long-running voids. Reapply as needed.
SPOT TREATMENT: Spot treatment applications may only be made outdoors, in commercial kitchens, garages, attics or unfinished basement areas. Use ProCitra-DL only with the supplied actuators and injection tubes. Hold container upright while spraying. Direct nozzle approximately 12 inches from surface to be treated. Apply directly on insects in these locations when possible. Reapply as needed.
OUTDOOR PERIMETER TREATMENT: For crawling insects, apply ProCitra-DL as a Crack & Crevice or spot treatment into cracks and crevices where insects may be entering premises or harboring. Areas to be treated may include, but are not limited to, weep holes, under siding, wall voids, soffits, around attic vents, cracks and crevices and openings around windows, doors and pipes. Treatment of infested fences and tree holes is permitted. Repeat treatment as necessary.

Great pest control

Verified PurchaseEvery year around August/September the heat really drives the ants inside without fail. I've tried baits and the sonic repeller and they would work for awhile but the ants would come back. I noticed results the very next day after my husband sprayed the outside perimeter with the Pro-Citra DL Aerosol and the Terro PCO Ant Bait Stations.

By Victor on July 10, 2011 Verified PurchaseIt's been 2 weeks since the treatment. So far so good, we no visible traces of bugs, which we believe were powder post bug, not sure though. I have to say that we cleaned up the infested area pretty well before the application.

APro-Citra DL is a crack and crevice spray that comes with a straw attachment to help you get it deep into cracks and crevices and it will most likely only spray out a few inches. We do carry two other aerosols that can shoot up to 15 feet, Wasp Freeze and EcoPCO Jet X.

AAny product that will kill an insect (other than a fly swatter) has some level of toxicity. Pro-Citra DL contains d-Limonene, a natural botanical insecticide derived from citrus peels, that is considered a "less toxic" alternative to other synthetic insecticides.
