I had a little problem with roaches but not the little roaches these are about 1" dark brown to very light brown. So I bought a case of Pro Control Plus. Set off two bombs one in the hall way one in the living room. Came back two hrs. later and everything was dead roaches, ants, flys, and spiders, so I give a 5 out of 5 thanks, no more bugs.

Wow! Really worked!
By Pete in spearfish, sd on 09/02/2011
Wiped out a nasty yellowjacket nest in my small garage. It was in a tough place to get to right inside the door. I previously used three store-bought wasp bombs along with foam spray at the entry, and they did very little. I sprayed the opening with foaming insecticide as a one-two punch, but to no avail. I finally set this bad boy up and that was the end of that. I used the foam spray as well, but I'm not sure I needed to. Save time and money--buy this.

Smokey Brown Roaches in the attic
By Sally in Nags Head, NC on 12/18/2011
This is my second purchase of the case size. I live on the Outer Banks and it is very damp. All of a sudden, I had a time controlling these huge smokey brown roaches. Since my HVAC is is the attic and the pan accumulates water from condensation, this was attracting them. I guess they went down the walls and inside the house. When we figured out where they were coming from, I purchased a case of the Pro Control Plus and set off 4 cans in the attic. It killed all of them and I just set off 4 more cans as a precaution. I also purchased the Delta Dust and put around the HVAC pan. My neighbors spent $350 getting their attic fogged. This is a good savings and I would recommend highly. I have not seen any activity in over 6 months.

Pro Control Plus Total Release
By M. in Youngstown, Ohio on 11/13/2011
Had a shipping pod delivered from Florida when my son moved back after college. I was concerned about the possible bugs, i.e., spiders, roaches, etc that were evident when the pod was packed and loaded in Florida. I used Pro Control Plus Total Release....one can...and set it off in the pod and closed the doors. When we started to remove the items (clothing and furniture) all we found were some dead bugs. I would use this product again....it worked great!!!

No more roaches
By Rob in Dallas, TX on 01/28/2016
I have a crawl space under the house, and was doing some remodeling and there were giant roaches living under the house. We also found them in the attic and the walls we removed. I set off 2 of these under the house and 1 in the attic.. next morning the only roaches or bugs we saw were dead ones. No lingering odor, nothing but dead bugs. 3 weeks later and haven't seen a bug!

Wrong Product for my needs
By Gail in Great Barrington, Ma on 07/29/2014
It may be that Pro Control Plus is a great product. However, until I opened the case and read the inside label (thank goodness I did), I certainly did not realize how toxic this product is. I have 2 dogs and had to cover EVERYTHING in the event that they walked on the rug and then licked their paws! Can't use in the basement because of the oil burner. Now that I've used one can - its not returnable.
Dear Ms. Natoli, If you have only used one can of the Pro Control Plus Total Release Foggers that you have purchased, you may return the remaining unused product. Please contact us by email at email@example.com or by telephone at 866-581-7378 M-F 9a-5p EST for assistance with your return.

I set this sucker off in the garden shed of our house, which had been overrun by a variety of spiders. After use, at first glance it appears that the bug bomb worked pretty well. I couldnt see spiders in every nook and cranny anymore, and a few big black widows were lying curled up on the floor. However, when I returned the next day, I noticed some new spider webs attached to the paint tin I had put in the middle of the shed atop of which I had set the bug bomb for discharge. One of the black widows had also managed to flip himself over, so it looks like this device only really succeeded in stunning or paralyzing the tougher spiders, although it did really well on the more standard daddy long legs types.

we set a dozen of these off in a wood working shop and couldn't believe the number and different kinds of dead bugs we found afterwards.

QWhat is the best pesticide to control camel or cave crickets?
I am using strips of duct tape now and catch a few a day over the last several months but they don't stop. I have them in my basement and den and I do see them around the outside of the house.
AOne of our most popular products for camel and crave crickets is our Niban Fine Granular Bait. It can be used indoors in the basement but it should be used around the outside of your home to help kill the crickets before they try to get into the house. The Niban FG Bait is a food source that they are attracted to and eat.
QWill the Pro Control Plus Total Release fogger kill black widows and their eggs in my garage? We have a lot of black widows!
APro Control Plus Total Release fogger will kill just about any insect that is out and exposed at the time of treatment. You should note that the fogger will not penetrate cracks, crevices or other areas that are hidden. Foggers go straight up into the air, float around for a short period of time and then settle onto surfaces. This means that any spiders that are hidden in cracks, crevices, storage boxes, etc will not be exposed to the fogger. You can use the fogger to get rid of any exposed insects and then follow up with a crack and crevice treatment such as Cy-Kick Aerosol. Also, spider eggs will most likely not be killed by any insecticide. The only surefire way to kill the eggs is to crush them or burn them.
QWill Pro Control Plus Total Release kill bedbugs?
I have been spraying using powder for 9 monthes now to get read of bed bugs will this help. If not do you have anything else
AWe do not recommend any type of fogger or bomb for bedbug control. Pro Control Plus Total Release fogger is made to kill exposed insects. In most instances bedbugs keep themselves concealed in hidden places to avoid detection and they will not come into contact with fogged insecticides. We recommend that you take a look at our Bedbug Kits. These kits come with all of the products that we recommend to eliminate bedbugs plus they come with step by step instructions that will help you treat more effectively. You must follow each step of the instructions, and you must be very thorough (treat every cracks, crevice, void, tuft or fold) and consistently do the retreatments every 7-10 days to get eliminate this pest.

QWhich fogger to use for killing bugs in storage unit?
We are moving and want to bomb before I bring things out of storage in my new home.
AWe would recommend using Pro Control Plus Total Release. This does leave a residual of up to 8 weeks and should not be placed in common living areas and/or near kitchen or food handling areas. Pro Control is meant to be used in a storage facility. You should not return for two hours after the can has been pressed and the fog has had time to settle. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
QI need something to kill wasps/hornets entering my home in the fall.
For the second year in a row, we have wasps/hornets entering the family room to get out of the cold. Our pest control company cannot find the source and we even changed companies this year. We have a small crawl space attic and have closed off the recessed lighting. We have a fireplace with a top flue that closes shut and a small crawl space under the family room. Should I try to use a fogger or something else? My wife and children are allergic to bees, so it is critical that I get rid of them.
AYou could use a bug bomb or fogger in the attic space if you have an attic space. If they are in your home then this usually means that they are coming in and out from somewhere around your home. They have to get out somehow to get food. Your only option is to find this place where they fly in and out. Once you find their entry/exit point then you can treat that area directly with a dust and take care of the problem.

QWill Pro Control work for Scorpions in attics?
I am looking for an attic fogger for a full size 2000sq ft home. I believe I have scorpions in the walls and attic. I have a gas heater. what would you recommend?
A Delta Dust†is good to use as part of a scorpion control program and would be a great product to apply to the cracks and crevices in the attic. Delta dust can be applied using a hand duster directly behind baseboards, to window and door frames, corners, pipes, storage locations, attics, crawl spaces, and other areas which these pests may enter or crawl. We also recommend that you use a concentrated liquid insecticide such as†Demon WP†around the outside perimeter of your home to help create a barrier to keep these pests out. You should treat a band of soil 6 - 10 ft wide around and adjacent to the building. Also treat the building foundation to a height of 2 - 3 ft where pests are active and may find entrance. It is important that you do not rely on insecticides alone to control scorpions, you should also make some changes outdoors to make your property less favorable to this pest. Non-insecticide methods for scorpion control are: Harborage Removal- Harborage removal is key to scorpion control and will greatly reduce the numbers of scorpions in the area surrounding the structure, making it far less likely that they will enter. Harborage removal includes eliminating piles of lumber, bricks, and other stacked items that create clusters of tight spaces, elimination of vegetation and other heavy ground coverings near homes and buildings, trimming back tree and shrub limbs from walls and roof, and keeping gutters clear of leaves and other debris. Exclusion- Scorpions and other pests can be kept out of structures to a large degree by installing tight-fitting screens, weatherstripping around doors and windows, and caulking cracks and crevices.

QWill Pro Control Plus Total Release kill bird mites?
APro Control Plus Total Release is not labeled for the treatment of bird mites. It is important to be absolutely sure you are actually dealing with bird mites. Have the suspected bird mite identified by a reputable source, such as your local cooperative extension office or a reputable pest control operator. Treatments will vary for different pests. Treatment for say bedbugs is much different than the treatment for bird mites. If you do indeed have bird mites, you must first find the source of the infestation, usually a bird nest or a dead bird on or in the home. Removal of the infested nest or bird and a thorough cleanup is necessary. For treatment in the home, we recommend you frequently vacuum all carpet and upholstery and dispose of the bag or vacuum contents in a sealed bag outdoors. Spray Sterifab on couches, chairs and other upholstered furniture where you may spend time resting. Use MotherEarth Dust in all cracks and crevices around the perimeter of the room. Apply a thin coat of MotherEarth dust to rugs and carpets. Rake (not sweep) nap back and forth, causing dust to enter rug or carpet. Let product sit overnight. Repeat application as necessary and vacuum every 3 - 4 days for effective control. MotherEarth dust does not have a fast knockdown, it can take several days for insects to die after they contact the dust. Onslaught can be used for a faster knockdown. Thoroughly apply as a fine particle broadcast spray using a hand pump sprayer to infested rugs and carpets and other cracks and crevices around the perimeter of each room. Put all clothes through the dryer on high heat to help kill mites and their eggs.We have had many customers use the above recommendations with great success. Most customers report that it can take several months to get rid of all of the mites. Finding and removing the source of the infestation is very important and is the key to getting rid of the mites for good. Please review our article on How To Control Bird Mites.

QWill Pro Control Plus Total Release - 6 oz. harm or kill bats if they are living in the attic as well?

QIs there a fogger type for termites on a sailboat?
I have a sailboat and I have termites. Because of the many pockets and the bilge can not use a spray. I can close it up tight .
AThere are not any foggers available that will penetrate into the wood for termite control. In cases like this where sprays are not a viable option, the boats are usually dry docked and then professionally tented to get rid of the termites.

QIs the Pro Control Plus safe to use in my home attic?
I am concerned about smell or chemicals coming down from the attic into the bedrooms of my hole.
AYou can use Pro Control Plus in the attic as long as it is larger than 5' x 5' but it is possible that some of the product could get into areas down below through vents or cracks in the ceiling. Since Pro Control Plus is labeled to be used in homes in the main living space this really shouldn't be a problem. Plan on leaving your home for at least 2 hours after activating the fogger. Ventilate enclosed areas before returning. Foggers do have a bit of a smell but in most cases the smell dissipates after a couple of hours.
08/23/2011 Ray from Montgomery, Al
QAfter using Pro Control Plus Total Release in crawl space, how long before it would be safe to contact surface
AYou would safely be able to go back into the treated area after at least 2 hours of using Pro Control Plus Total Release. Be sure to vent the area for about 30 minutes prior to re-entry.
QCan you suggest a bomb for thrips to use in my home and truck?
I used Talstar P to try and get rid of the thrips but it doesn't seen to be working. I'm also using a professional lawn service to treat the yard. They are using Talstar P also. This has gone on for two months now and my house and truck are infested completely. Please help me with my problem.
AThere are not any foggers or bombs that are labeled for thrips. Of course this doesn't mean that the fogger will not kill thrips, only that the manufacturer hasn't intended it for this type of use or that they haven't tested the product for this pest. There are no foggers that you can use in your vehicle as the space is much too small to accommodate the foggers requirements. We do carry a fogger that you could use in your home, Pro Control Plus Total Release which contains two active ingredients 0.50% Pyrethrins for a fast knockdown, 0.10% Cyfluthrin for a long lasting residual. Also, Talstar P will take time to kill thrips and you should allow several weeks to see the complete results. We recommend that you contact your local cooperative extension office to request an insect identification if you have not done so already. Failure to properly identify an insect can lead to a pest control program failure as different insects require different treatments.
QWould this product be a good product for killing yellow jackets?
The nest appears to be behind the brick wall. They are entering between the brick and the brick mold.I was thinking about cutting a hole in the brick molding big enough to fit this fogger in and try to fog them out. Will this work? I have sprayed wasp spray, etc. and that was not good.
ANo, typically Pro Control Plus Total Release Aerosol is not a good product for bees. Dusting is the best option if you know where the bees/wasps are entering and exiting the nest. Our most popular dust for bees/wasp is Tempo Dust. You will need a hand duster to apply it with. It usually works within 24 to 48 hours. You want to go up to the opening where they are flying in and out of at dusk or at night when they are not active and puff twice directly into the hole. Then pull the duster out and puff directly at the hole to cover the opening from about 5 inches away. This is the most efficient and fastest way to eliminate a bee/yellow jacket/wasp nest.
If you want to give tempo dust a try or read about it further here is a link: http://www.domyownpestcontrol.com/tempo-dust-p-391.html The hand duster to apply the Tempo Dust is also on the page linked above.
