InVite Liquid Lure is a special liquid bait that’s designed to lure small flies, fruit flies, drain flies, phorid flies, European hornets and yellow jackets. This concentrated non-pesticidal formula is very effective on attracting target insects so it guarantees to achieve a better result especially when used with other traps such as Yellow PFT station or other jar traps. It can also be sprayed on surfaces that contains microcap such as LambdaStar 9.7% CS or FenvaStar EcoCap to create a “killing zone” where flies and stinging insects can land, pick up the residual and instantly die. Directions For Use
Shake well and pour 1- 4 oz. (depending upon level of alternative food in the area) of InVite Liquid Lure into the cup of the PFT Station and add water, soda or beer to fill the cup about half full. This product will also attract phorid flies and can be enhanced for this use by adding a small amount of Rockwell’s InVite Kil Zone to the mixture. Hang the PFT Station in areas where target pests are present. To create a killing station, spray or wipe the PFT with an odorless residual insecticide. Replace when the cup is full or after one month. Submerge station in water prior to disposing of cup to kill any insects left alive. For use in ILTs, place InVite Liquid Lure in a small container such as Rockwell’s BaitPlate, then place in or on the ILT. This product may also be used in other insect traps. To use on a glueboard, place a larger cotton ball on the glue and saturate with InVite Liquid Lure. For greater convenience on glueboards, use InVite Fruit Fly Lure Gel instead. Avoid ingestion and inhalation of fumes for extended periods. Store out of reach of children. For long term storage, avoid excessive heat. Used or left over InVite Liquid Lure and dead insects may be disposed of on site.

Used InVite in two traps and it didn't attract one insect for seven days. Next I dumped the InVite, put fresh InVite with fresh Coca-Cola to the mix. Left hanging in shed for another seven days and got nothing. The daily temperatures have been as high as 80 degrees and lows in the 40s. I've been having problems with wasps and yellow jackets. This stuff definitely doesn't work. Guess I'll try the traps from Lowes.

Hi, I have a Phorid fly issue.
Invite Liquid Lure is not designed to be mixed with insecticide like Cy Kick.
When trying to control Phorid flies or any similar species, you want to make sure you find out exactly where there are breeding and harboring so you will want to follow Step 1 in the article below to help determine if they are mainly coming from that drain or also another location. If they are coming from the drain itself you would use a mixture of a drain gel and a birth control -Gentrol IGR Aerosol- to stop the reproductive cycle. Try to eliminate as many moisture holding areas as possible as anywhere there is moisture/organic build up, they can thrive. The Phorid is a reproduction champion with females capable of laying forty eggs in twelve hours. Their entire live cycle is only about 25 days, so you can see how a population goes from zero to zillions in a very short time. How long it takes for the DF 5000 to get rid of the drain flies depends on how much organic matter has built up in the drain and if the DF 5000 is even getting in the right spot. Sometimes flies can be breeding much farther down the drain than just in the trap under the sink. Most of the time though the trap under the sink or tub is the issue and you just need to continue applying the gel. It can take a few days or up to two weeks sometimes depending on how much matter has built up. When this process is over you should treat the drains once every 30 days and you will prevent this from happening in the future. Please let us know if you have any other questions.
