Do not apply in gardens and areas where food or feed may become contaminated. Any person who retrieves carcasses or used bait following application of this product must wear waterproof gloves.
APPLICATION DIRECTIONS FOR POCKET GOPHERS
Apply bait to control pocket gophers using one of the two methods outlined below:
PLUG REMOVAL BAITING:
Burrowing pocket gophers (thomomys spp. and Geomys spp.) throw out low, fan shaped mounds on either side of their underground tunnel. These lateral tunnels coming to the surface are on the flat side of the fan and are plugged with soil. Using a long-handled spoon, carefully remove the plug. Insert one teaspoon of bait as far down as possible. Reclose opening, being careful not to cover bait with soil.
MAIN RUNWAY BAITING: To locate main runways, probe about 6 to 8 inches away from mounds by use of an iron bar, a strong stick, or other suitable implement. Resistance on probe will drop suddenly and probe will fall about two inches when main runway is entered. Carefully enlarge the opening to accomodate insertion of the bait. Insert one teaspoon of bait into each active tunnel. Carefully close the hole with a stone, sod, or soil. Take care not to cover bait with soil.
FOLLOW UP Wearing waterproof gloves, collect and dispose of all dead, exposed animals and of leftover bait in accordance with disposal instructions. Use detergent and hot water to wash spoons. Do not use spoons for mixing, holding or transferring food or feed. If reinfesation does occur, repeat treatment
Pet safe Yes, if followed by directions on label.

    Gophers Gone

    By Jack on 05/25/2016

I had multiple mounds in my back yard. I was able to locate 2 or 3 tunnels around each and deposited the granules in them. It's been a good two weeks and no new mounds. A week after I first applied it I did find two small mounds in my front yard so I applied it there the same way. That's been 7-10 days and no new signs. I really like that the granules are about the size of small seeds so that they easily fall into the hole. The bait I was using before was about the size of a pea and would sometime get hung up in the grass. We have a small dog so I had to be very careful to make sure nothing remained on the surface. So far, so good.

    Gopher, gopher, gone!

    By Jeffery on 09/22/2017

I tried several ways to run my yard of gophers. They seem to multiply when I see a multi-feed bait over a week. Instead of seeing fewer mounds I saw more. I switched to Wilco Zinc and applied it when three new mounds appeared. It seem several weeks and there are not new mounds.
