Tara from chicago IL asked:
QWhich sprayer do you recommend purchasing to apply Temprid SC with?
A Just about any 1 gallon pump sprayer will do. We prefer the Chapin Premier 1 Gallon Pump Sprayer 21210XP because of the brass construction in the shutoff valve, wand and nozzle. Makes for great applications. All of the parts are replaceable when they wear out and when cared for properly will last for many years.

rita from indianapolis in. asked:
QI have rental property empty with bed bugs, can i steam clean the carpets or what do i need to do?
A Since bedbugs can live in wall voids, behind baseboards and in other hidden areas you will have to do more than steam the carpets, though steaming the carpets can help. We recommend using a hand duster to apply dust insecticide such as Cimexa dust to the wall voids and power outlets. We also recommend using a spray in the cracks and crevices around the baseboards and other areas such as Temprid SC to eliminate hidden bedbugs as they emerge from hiding. Because no one is living there the bedbugs can be dormant which could prolong control efforts.

Angie from Ohio asked:
QI have mixed Temprid with a gallon of water and still have some left over...how long can it be stored? How long can I store my Temprid and water mixture? I have mixed 8mm into a gallon of water and didn't use all of it and was wondering if I can store it for a week or a month like this? A You should not store diluted Temprid (or most other diluted insecticides for that matter) for more than 24 hours because the acids in the water will start to degrade the product making it ineffective. Leftover dilution can be disposed of by pouring it out right up against the foundation of your structure outside.

Andrew from Norfolk, VA asked:
QMy temprid has a darker type solution on top like it had seperated. Is my temprid still some good? I only had it for a couple of months and did not even use it yet. A Absolutely. Temprid and most all concentrates that we sell have a 3 to 5 year shelf life. Many concentrates contain different active ingredients, some heavier than others which is why they can separate if left on a shelf for a few months. It is no problem though. Just shake the bottle for about 10 to 15 seconds and the solution will reset and look normal.

Phyllis from high point, n.c. asked:
QHow effective is Temprid SC on fleas if the whole yard is sprayed?
A Temprid SC would be effective for outdoor flea treatments when used as directed on the product label. For fleas, concentrate treatments in areas where pets or animals are known to rest, as these areas are larval breeding hot spots. Treat the entire area where these pests could be present. Since fleas eggs and larva are protected from insecticides you will need to reapply Temprid SC every 14 days until the flea cycle has been broken. Fleas and ticks may be reintroduced from surrounding areas by host animals.

JAVIER from van nuys california asked:
QTEMPRID SC MATA LOS HUEVOS DE LAS CHINCHES "BED BUGS" SI NO QUE PRODUCTO PARA MESCLAR LO HACE? GRACIAS

Dave from Murfreesboro, TN asked:
QTemprid for Brown Recluse i read an ad for Temprid in a pest control magazine some months back and stated that it is now labeled for Brown Recluse. is there any truth to this? A According to the manufacturer, Bayer, Temprid SC will kill any spider except for tarantulas. We are in the middle of adding the new Temprid SC product label to our website for our customers to review. You will be able to find it on the Temprid SC product page very soon.

mike asked:
QHow many time have to use Temprid SC with in a day?
A Temprid SC leaves a residual behind so you should not apply it more than once every 7-10 days for bedbugs and not more than once a month for other insects (the product label does allow you to reapply Temprid SC every 7-10 days for other insects if there is a strong pest pressure). Please take a few moments to read the Temprid SC product label and the Temprid SC supplemental product label so that you can be sure your are using the product correctly.

Dave asked:
QCan I spray Temprid SC on rose bushes to kill Japanese beetles?
A Temprid SC is not labeled for turf and ornamental treatment so we cannot recommend it for use on your rose bushes for Japanese beetles. However, our most popular product for general pest control is Talstar, and it is labeled for indoor and outdoor use like the Temprid SC. The Talstar though is labeled for lawn and ornamentals as well and is one of our most popular products for Japanese beetle control. It is perfectly fine to apply Talstar to your rose bushes.

Marie asked:
QI read that Temprid SC can make 50 gallons. Is there a smaller bottle available? 50 gallons is an awful lot for people who are just treating their own home. This is probably why Temprid costs so much more than other insecticides. Do the makers of Temprid plan to market a smaller amount, or make an aerosol that would be useful to people who would never use up what is in the bottle they currently sell? A Unfortunately, there is only one size of Temprid SC and that is the 400 ml bottle. Remember that we only sell professional products and they are produced and intended to be used by professionals. For a professional that may treat 10 homes in one day, this bottle does not last very long. You can mix 8 ml per gallon of water or 16 ml per gallon of water for most insect problems. If you use it at the 16 ml per gallon of water rate, which many professional do, the bottle will only make 25 gallons of solution. The product has a shelf life of at least 5 years as long as you keep the lid on and keep it out of direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.

Raymond asked:
QWhat's the difference between water based and oil based insecticide?
A Water based insecticides are the most commonly used insecticides today because they have low or no odor and they usually do not stain. Oil based insecticides are used in cases where the product may need to stay wetter for a longer period of time and they are usually used outdoors to avoid odor issues and staining. Oil based insecticides usually need to be diluted with oil or you must use an additive such as adjuvant to dilute the product in water (always read the product label for proper mixing instructions).

Bed asked:
QI don't see Bed Bugs listed on the Temprid SC product label ? I just looked at the product label but I don't see Bed bugs listed anywhere? I purchased Phantom, Alpine Dust, Gentrol and Bedlam last summer, but the bed bugs continued to come back. I called an exterminator this week cause they're back and I can't afford to lose the tenants like I did last summer. They said they were gonna use Temprid, that's what made me come here and check that out. I'd like to use this and see, but I really can't have them keep coming back this summer. I'm hoping this company can do better than I did and get rid of them once and for all. A Temprid SC has a supplemental product label which you can see on the Temrpid SC product page on our website or by clicking here: supplemental product label. This label specifically deals with bedbugs and how to use Temprid SC for bedbug treatments.

David asked:
QDoes Temprid form "micro-crystals" after it dries? Similar to Suspend and Tempo SC Ultra? A Most of the residual products leave what some people call micro-crystals. Temprid does as well. This is referring to the surface that you apply the product on. After it dries and you look through a microscope at the surface, it looks like a crystallization is formed on the surface. This can only be seen of course through a microscope.

Mark asked:
QCan Talstar P and Temprid SC be mixed together and be safely sprayed indoor and outdoors?
A There is no valid reason to mix Temprid SC and Talstar P together. Talstar P is a synthetic pyrethroid and Temprid SC already contains a synthetic pyrethroid, so there would be nothing to gain by mixing these products together. Making a pesticide too strong can actually backfire. Areas that are treated with this overly concentrated spray will be repellent and insects will simply avoid the treated areas prolonging the infestation.
