    Q
How much Pendulum Aquacap should I use per gallon of water?
I have a 25 gal sprayer but only want to use the wand to spray around white pine with Pendulum Aquacap?
    A
The first thing you need to know when using an herbicide such as Pendulum Aquacap is that the exact amount of water you dilute it with is not important. It is only important to make sure you are using the correct amount of product per 1,000 sq ft of area. You will need to use 1.6 - 3.2 oz of Pendulum per 1,000 sq ft of area. To decide how much water you want to use, you should mark a 1,000 sq ft area, fill your sprayer with water ONLY, and moving and spraying just as if you were doing the actual application of herbicide. When you are done walking and spraying the 1,000 sq ft area note how much water it took you to spray that area, and that is the amount you will want to mix 1.6-3.2 oz of product with for each 1,000 sq ft area that needs to be treated. You will need to make sure treated areas are irrigated with at least 1/2 inch of water (either by rainfall or by sprinkler) following the application to ensure best results.

    Q
How many ounces of Pendulum Aquacap per gallon of water for use in residential flower beds?
    A

It is only important to make sure you are using the correct amount of product per 1,000 sq ft of area. Use too much and you risk damaging desirable plants, use too little and you will not get adequate results. According to page 10 of the Pendulum Aquacap product label you will need to use 1.6 - 3.2 fl oz per 1000 sq ft of area. To decide how much water you want to use, you should mark a 1,000 sq ft area, fill your sprayer with water ONLY, and start walking and spraying just as if you were doing the actual application of herbicide. According to the Pendulum AquaCap product label (page 4) erratic weed control may result if the product is not watered in within 30 days. We do recommend that you water in the product as soon as possible after application for best results.

    Q
How much can I apply and how often
How often can I apply Aquacap to guarantee as best as I can that I will have no weeds in my yard. If I apply to much or to often is there an effect on my yard? I have Tifton Bermuda and Zoysia.
    A
The Pendulum Aquacap product label does say you can reapply 5-8 weeks after the initial application in residential areas if needed. If you apply too often you can damage the desirable grasses so you must adhere to the product label. It is also important that you not apply more than the recommended usage rate per acre per year For more information about this product you can contact the manufacturer by calling 800-526-1072.

  • Asked by Paul from Albuquerque, Nm

    Q
Why did Pendulum AquaCap stain my gravel rock bed?
If the Aquacap does not contain the yellow color agent as in the 3-EC and other Pendulum herbicide, then why did it stain the rock? I rinsed the gravel bed twice and it only lightened the yellow tint.
    A

The Pendulum AquaCap reduces staining potential but there is still the potential for Pendulum AquaCap to stain porous surfaces such as stone and wood. The Pendulum AquaCap label states that you should avoid unintentional contact of spray solution to driveways, stone, wood, and other porous surfaces and recommends that you rinse surfaces IMMEDIATELY using a heavy spray of water to avoid staining.

    Q
How many ounces of Pendulum AquaCap do i use per gallon for a hose sprayer?
I understand the 3.2 oz per 1000 square feet but I have over 1/2 acre I need to spray and I'm using an adjustable sprayer on the end of a hose with no way of telling how much water I'm using. I can set the sprayer to feed "X" amount of ounces per gallon. There has to be a general guidline.
