Leigh from Jackson, AL asked:
QRecommend a chemical for indoors and outdoors, preferably micro-encapsulated. The trend in pest control seems to be exterior-only treatments. That sounds like a great way to cut down on the amount of chemicals inside the home. Do you know which chemicals are being used or could you recommend one? I'm leaning toward a microencapsulated type such as Demand CS. Will it hold up well outdoors and keep the bugs out? Thanks. A Demand CS would be a great choice for general pest control. It will hold up well to UV rays and rain and because it is a micro-encapsulated it works a little bit like a time released formula.

Thanks A You can use Demand CS is in the attic to help control the stinkbugs. Only the stinkbugs that come in contact with treated areas will be killed. Randi from Lovettsville, VA asked:
QIs Demand CS poisonous to horses? We have a stink bug problem and want to try Demand CS around our house. Is it also safe to use around our barn where the horses are? A Demand CS is labeled to be used in barns and other animal housing structures but the animals must be out of the area while the application is being made and they can return to the area once it is dried. Demand CS should only be used in cracks and crevices and care should be taken to make sure over-spray does not contact feed and water supplies or feed/watering dishes. Adam from Kirksville, Missouri asked:
QIs it dangerous to remain in an area where Demand CS has been sprayed? An exterminator came by today and began using Demand CS in my apartment, focusing on the baseboards, "for spiders." He mentioned it lasted some time but did not mention any vapors, or hazards. I stayed for some 10 to 20 minutes in the apartment as it dried, getting ready for class. Should I be concerned? A In the future it would be wise for you to leave the treated area until the application of Demand CS has had a chance to dry to avoid accidentally contacting wet areas. Vapors are usually not a concern with water based insecticides that are sprayed on using a pump sprayer.

Erik from Lancaster PA asked:
QCan Demand CS be sprayed on vehicle exteriors? I would like to spray Demand CS on my car's paint to help keep stink bugs from wintering in it. Will it bond with the paint job and last for 30+ days? Will it damage the paint finish on the car? A Demand CS is not labeled to be sprayed on cars so it has not been tested on car paint and we are not sure if it would damage the paint or not. We can tell you that Demand CS is water based and in most cases can be safely sprayed on any surface that is not damaged by water alone. Demand CS does stay on the surface that is sprayed and will keep killing for up to 30 days outdoors.
